I dropped Saltmarsh on thw Sword Coast and we've been playing it over two years now. The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh was the first adventure I ever played in the 80s. Died twice before even getting in the back door!
I appreciate the overview but it's so strange the details you got wrong. For example the haunted house is 4 miles outside town, not 1 and there are no swamps or marshes between Saltmarsh and there. The house is up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It's actually important to the way that adventure works that this be the case. Are these mistakes or changes?
Oh, most definently a mistake! I just double checked and you are correct! I'm sure there are mistakes that arose and they must've occured when re-summarizing my scripts so many times. Thank you so much for pointing them out and I'll be sure to fix it as soon as I can!
OK, you can't just gloss over Tharizdun. I know this isn't about Tharizdun but the son of of bitch is pretty much agreed upon as the most powerful and dangerous big bad in D&D. ALL the gods had to combine their power to imprison Tharizdun. Tharizdun is the evil entity that all other evil entities do NOT want to talk about.
This is awesome, thank you so much for covering it! Nailed it as usual, great video

good summary dissapoiting ending tothe module tho...
Appreciate the content and the pacing but the background music was too loud and the amount of vocal fry used by the narrator made it unlistenable.
