To be honest none of the add-ons really jump out at me this week, it felt like add-ons were on a trend of getting bigger and better and these feel like a step back to me, iron and stone texture pack could be nice to check out.
That furniture addon is entities, its a skip. The furniture Life one we got by Pixelheass uses blocks and is far superior. Other than that XP games furniture addon is also blocks and a well-made addon as well Edit: Out of the two, I’d say my pick is checking out Iron & Stone.
We see Doors as a compliment to Furniture Add-Ons and not furniture itself. In our completely unbiased opinion it's a simpler pack with more content than you'd think at a glance. We have included features for both Survival and Creative gameplay in mind. Certainly some things to adjust and we're working on them. Totally understand if it's not up your alley though :) You should definitely check out Iron & Stone Texture Pack by Tetrascape. They make high-quality content!
Thats cool mate. Definitely not assuming its bad just because its not my thing :) thanks for the extra info tho! And thank you for the recommendation on the texture pack!
@ Oh we totally know you weren't calling it bad! It's not a flashy add-on by design but we've got some added features in there like double doors, a new twist on secret doors, automatic functionality, dyable stained glass, etc. that we think give it extra utility and value. Our goal was to be very vanilla friendly and therefore be a friendly supplement to anyone's favorite pack. Currently the vanilla looking doors will utilize your active texture pack meaning it should fit naturally with whatever style you prefer, vanilla or not! However, that comes at the cost of the doors being entities. Which, rightfully so, people have an issue with. We missed the mark there, and were clearly too focused on the texture pack tech. So, we are currently working on adding new versions of the doors as blocks that would not use your texture pack but basically use vanilla texturing. (the current doors will still exist for those that specifically want that texture pack support tech) With that being said, it would fit wonderfully with XP Games' Furniture Add-On which already is designed with vanilla textures in mind.
@4KSStudios awesome! Mate, this interaction has definitely warmed me to the idea of the add on at the very least. I can see the care youre all taking with it! Thank you for the comment!
Yea, but its ENTITY Doors...smh... Hard Pass on my Multi-player Server. Furniture Life (Add-On) set the bar VERY high with custom doors that ARE BLOCKS (not sucking up / processing/ hindering performance to be able to pull and process information for custom textures on ENTITIES).
Making you being able to search for the mobs or summon them is hecka important cause sometimes its fun to look for them and sometimes you'll just never find them.
I'd personally vote for the Doors add-on then the Enchantments add-on second. Both feel good but hopefully they don't cause lag or crashes on less powerful devices than your PS5.
@@DazMan Well they say they want to add block doors as a option while keeping the option to make them as entities. The entity doors work in every texture pack so I guess you'll be applying a texture pack later in that review.
@@DazMan it's not worth 990 or 830 but for 660 why not. Maybe we will get some 2.0 improvements who knows. But this biomes+ for 1340 is real joke. I did bought day or two after launch and I am not happy at all. And yes some add ons well a lot add ons didn't get any updates at all since launch. It shouldn't be like that I think.

Hopefully its just a lull and the next weeks will be awesome again. Cant be at 100 every week maybe

Iron and stone seems to be a popular choice

Is there a particular furniture add on you are hoping to compliment? Or all in general?

All depends how the summoning is handled really.
But i agree!
Tetrascape published a new texture pack called Iron & Stone Your Medieval Era, will you be looking at this? It looks really cool
Its looking likely!
I'd personally vote for the Doors add-on then the Enchantments add-on second. Both feel good but hopefully they don't cause lag or crashes on less powerful devices than your PS5.
The doors one might, with it being entities. But i think theyre changing it to blocks, not entities

@@DazMan I put some more thought into it and Enchantments add-on is better.
It does cause lag on my GF's PS5 if you have a pre-existing world. (Doors, not Enchantment)
@@aPoCaLyPsE420187 Good to know. Block versions are coming. We're going to make this better!
Biomes+ realism drama 😊EDIT: zombies now costs 830? I am glad I bought for 660 😊
Zombies realism? What!?! Thats a joke!

I agree with you mate
Dont worry about the enchantment one, it's a good idea, but badly implemented, its it's also very unbalanced.
Yeah thats usually my fear with those, so i rarely pay attention to them. Thank you for the heads up
I think the bosses addon and the two new texture packs.
Thank you
Stone and Iron
Thank you!
