Made from 24mm birch plywood with a 'tornado grey' HPL for the cabinet and 18mm birch plywood for the legs and drawer fronts.
I made 2 of these units so I am cutting up material for both units in some shots.

Picked you for a Kiwi straight away...Irwin, Ryobi, fuller tools straight out of Bunnings or Mitre 10.
Goes to show you don`t have to surround yourself with Feztools that cost the (middle) earth to create beautiful furniture.
Skill, creativity and passion will get you there on a budget
Bravo
That is some nice Birch Plywood. I haven't gotten to the level yet of making furniture with faced Plywood. I am still making my shop furniture. Practice and perfect on the shop stuff then move onto the bigger projects. I did make a nice Book case and used edge tape to hide the plywood ends, came out great!.
That modernistic design is perfect for my home..sleek..low profile. My stereo system would look great on this furniture!
Nice end result. When I work with laminate products I jack the blade up a bit and put the visible side up to reduce tear out.
Tidy work man! I really like your corner clamping templates. I'll have to try that!
You are awesome, making this cabinet so smooth in finish touch! I really enjoy to learn the process, thank you
Thanks!!
Such a simple yet elegant solution for the legs.
WOW you work really fast, like superhero fast!
If I tired to work that fast I'd lose fingers... a hand... even a whole leg!
That looks great; the reveal from where the legs meet the base frame creates a really nice shadow.
This is what I like, a craftsman showing what he can produce WITHOUT having a $100,000 tool shop.
simple and precise lines, ordinary plywood and hands from the right place, and as a result a multifunctional modernist style. great work!
I like your 90degree home made MDF clamp jigs mate. Nice idea.
Nice job! You clearly have good skills and access to nice material. Looks like a melamine product.
Shawn Mueller its an HPL
Loved the method for making the legs and skirt. Will definitely be stealing that technique. Thanks!
1 word: SICK! 😍 Glad that i've seen this page when i was looking to saw and cut HPL plates.

Just stumbled on your video. Music, video, closeups are fantastic.
Cheers!
Great music, simple and nice piece of furniture! Music is great !
Would love to see a video on furniture legs and bases. That base looks great! Excellent work.
I watch you and try to learn as much as I can watching you put in the hidden screws is something I cannot do for some reason I either end up ripping them apart or they don't come out even the way you do it makes it look so easy
Great work, looks really good. Love the grey and ply combo. 👍
Thanks! I love adding a bit of colour to go with the wood
Good job . It's not a easy build for beginners like me , but it's definitely inspiration

Beautiful work, bro. It's nice to see I'm not the lone TH-camr surviving with the entry level pocket hole jig😀
You earned yourself a sub just for the sweet music playing to that amazing craftsmanship. Cheers sir

Looks great, man!
very nice work, greetings from Chile
This is excellent man...great work....Can you please share the cutting list.
Man, what amazing job… What is the name of that plywood you’re getting and where do you get it at?
I always do it the hard way when routing dados, so when I saw you put a thin pieces to widen the dado I had a duh why didn't I think of that moment. I always move my straight edge instead. Thank you
Great job
Hi, nice job. Very balanced and rational
If only you were based in Melbourne. Could use something like that haha. Great work
Just move back to Auckland :D
It's pretty cool back here in Auckland
color is great!
Whilst I understand the reasoning, am not a huge fan of fast playback, or is there a way that I can slow it down through this app.
That all said, the finished product would be a great addition to any home. Awesome workshop.
Hi, you can adjust the playback speed as slow as 0.25x in the settings / click the 3 little dots on the top right of the video.
Awesome video, great music, relaxing and entertaining. I'll try it! Thanks man!
Хорошая работа!

Belo maquinário :-) excelente trabalho parabéns
cmo se llama ese accesorio que usan para hacer las ranuras laterales? para el esmeril?
Super skills!
Lol the song shouted out sections of Newark NJ..
I am a beginner and wish that there are narratives added to each section :)
Nice to see some Kiwi content. Watching and saw you pretty much had the same set up as me in Lower Hutt. I see you using the Kregg jig, how you find just using the cheap version, the whole set up cost around $300.00 .Peter O
Cheers! Haha awesome! I have no issues with the kreg jig. Using it with the clamp really makes things go a lot quicker. But I am now seeing the practicality of the K4 set up compared to my one
Thnaks for that, u made my mind up for me. I think I'll go the K4 set up. Pain in the arse when you try and save money and end up with something less than perfect. Stuff cost so much in NZ. Peter O
That turned out really well, nice work!
Nice brother
Guess this is a cooking channel for us
Very nice .
Those cabinet feet are pretty awesome!
Only glue ! is that strong enough ?
If you were to join the top to the sides using a mitre & biscuits do you think it would be strong enough?
I think so. I did that with a coffee table I made in another video. Seemed strong enough. I used 24mm plywood so there is more surface area for the glue which I think helps.
