Loved seeing the entrance to the K&A again! We were also really surprised by how narrow the canal felt after being on the Thames. Another wonderful vlog 🥰😀
We've only done a small part of the K&A, but we enjoyed it although there were times that finding a mooring was a challenge. I think the Reading city center is so strange - all those shops and restaurants and no where to stop!

Loved the vlog! We are on the K&A at the moment, and the CRT site is saying the Kennet is still on red? Specifically county lock. It didn't look too fast flowing in the video. How recent was your trip?
Ah! That explains it. Tbh I was questioning the CRTs speed at reducing the levels. We'll continue our slow pootle towards Newbury, and hopefully, we'll get some sun and be able to leave 😊Thanks for the info!
River Avon ( arfon ) in Anglo Saxon times is basically just repeating the name ie: River Avon is River river ( or so a blue badge tour guide leads me to believe ) i might be wrong. Avon/Arfon= River in Anglo saxon
