Dear Bill - (I’m 74 and THIS is how I do it) - I was refered to your channel and I must say it is impressive. You’re an obviously multi talented person. You’re entertaining and engaging. And your video editing skills are at a level above. I do so look forward to watching all your content. Thank you for sharing.
Holly Crap, i watch a tone of these scratch build videos and Junk Flock is such a freaking good idea. This is the first video that i have seen in years that has taught me a new idea. These videos are amazing, thanks Bill!!!
In all seriousness…you are very talented and what you can do from simple stuff is so inspirational. I’m currently collecting stuff to start trying it myself! Thank you
You can't keep holding on to those plastic building blocks; you've just got to Lego. Those robots (and robutt) have found a new lease of life, even in death. The junk flock is a great idea.
Hey Bill! You could make a piece of robot graveyard with a tube like a sewer tube, think it would be a nice interaction on the game table, a tube where the characters could cross to another part of the scenery!
This is some grade A content. Just excellent. Thank the almighty algorithm for the suggestion. I guess I have to watch everything you've ever done now...
Absolutely love the channel, finding so much inspiration from your videos. Really enjoying the filming style too. It’s like a mix of art attack and heartbeat combined but a gazillion times better. Would love to see a behind the scenes of your filming process, just because I’m a photography and film geek
@@BillMakingStuff I am definitely enjoying your videos, and I am also picking up some fantastic tips. I love taking things apart to gets bits and bobs to build my robots. The one thing I e never taken apart get is old spray bottles! So thank you for that excellent tip. I'm now raiding the cupboards for spare spray bottles to use!
You should make an AT-AT themed for your junkyard planet. Maybe it was battle damaged wreckage left by the empire and refurbished by the locals using recycled junk
Idea for a scrap planet terrain build: the colossal remains of a giant robot (or parts of), now a multi-level defensible structure? Like, make base for your bead bots inside a massive robot head, or have a big arm as a bridge over a ravine and the like.
Loving this channel. Would love to see a shop tour - I can tell you have a cool organizational wall and probably lots of nice bin arrangements. That's not sarcasm - I want to see!
Y’know at least you filmed the bots you destroyed so they’re not truly lost, as if being turned into something less self destructive didn’t make that true already, while I can agree it hurts to destroy what you worked hard on in the case of you turning things that just fall apart into something equally beautiful I think it was for the best and I’m impressed with this build
Bill, I have to say, this video is an absolute gem. It has everything I've come to expect from your videos, beads, rust, and giant robot butt cheeks. And don't think I didn't notice you turning more towards the camera! I'm glad that after 22 episodes together you are finally okay with making eye contact. That or you actually are a robot and were waiting on the left side of your holographic face to render textures properly.
This takes me back, man... The Skynet wars. Still remember plasma heating cold early April air to the boiling temperatures, explosions tearing some inside-out. So many good androids were scrapped to pieces at what now known as the Rust Hill. These humans were relentless, man... Anyway, I really enjoyed "the flocking", thanks for another great build.
This was a great video! cutting through old models was a little magic as you forget when they're painted they're all still basically wood/plastic not large piles of rusty iron. Greeble flocking also such a fun idea for that kind of landscape too
Always pushing the limits ! Beads as flocking material... Looking forward for the next transgression : ) And congratulations for your collab with TheCrafsMan !
This video reminds me of that one episode of Transformers where the autobots visit a kind of space mausoleum where all the robots who died in the 1986 movie were interred, except slightly less sad.
Cleaned up my cradtplace yesterday, threw away plastic bits I really don't have use for anymore. Saw this video - need to dive into that trash bag for saving precious ragu components.
Alright I think it's finally that point, I never wanna see another bit of rust for the rest of my life!... until you want to make the next project with rust haha. Honestly, wish I could find the courage to break some old projects and make them into a graveyard. You're a far stronger crafter than I, they ended up looking really great in this! Taking recycling to the next level!
Great rusty hillocks of numinous rubble, enjoyed. Wish to suggest collab with Creatures, Caverns and Crafting, who makes lovely junky fun post apocalyptic confabulations as well as stop action shorts. I think it would be a good combo. Quite different directions from similar materials. Just a thought.
nice little build! my tip for obtaining junk pieces is stolen from the channel Cut Tranform Glue. pull apart an old printer if you can your hands on one, there's all sorts of cool deelies in there that make great bits and greeblies for modelling.

Did I see a mutant under that heap?? Look out!
I would do that just so I wouldn't have to paint them.

Magnificent those rusty garbage pile grounds. They decorate a game table very well.!!
I’ve watched this video multiple times. I find it very inspiring.
The little lacy bits of cut away foam look like they would make the coolest mask for spray paint.
Awww!!! Those robots are adorable!!!!! Too bad they break apart! I’d love to have one! Your paint jobs are brilliant 😍👍🏻
Bill. I play your “making stuff” playlist to fall asleep every night. Now my brain looks like this.
