When you play Hardcore single player, you really get to play the game as the devs intended it. No cheap shortcuts, just pure determination and focus :)
@@thenuclearrabbit same here, I also played several Hardcore on single player and it is actually much more enjoyable and rewarding. Also played Single Player Plugy and completed Holy Grail before D2R launch and that was a treat too, like finding your first Griffons or making a self-found Enigma etc. is such a rewarding feeling that you can’t experience on Multiplayer.
@@Swalexbass i'm missing 5 or 6 items on my plugy grail but it was a ton of fun for sure :) I just did a ton of these runs there as well. Kind of regret not recording and uploading them now but it is what it is.
This and your Berserk Barbarian video made me subscribe. I love playing Solo Self Found until I beat the game in hell and only then start playing with other people online, so your videos are a lot of help :)

You should install pluggy, play 1.08 patch and find the godly 1.08 uniques. Like 1.08 shako and arcain valor. Some other cool stuff in 1.08 but I can’t remember them all. I just remember it’s much better than the uniques now.
I have had plugy for years but I really don't want to go back to the old graphics. A .08 run could be fun though but I highly doubt I'd find those kind of items
@@thenuclearrabbit I’ve done it before D2R release. It’s actually really fun to see how the uniques changed. What I did was go to LK and hit armor racks over and over. I kept rerolling maps till I got a rack that dropped the base armor I wanted and kept hitting it till it was unique. Yes, old graphics suck but once you find it, you can transfer it to D2R offline. Go look at the 1.08 godly uniques and see how motivated you become to get it lol. Good content as well since nobody has shown finding the 1.08 uniques. As well as the crazy charms that spawn in 1.08. Like a large charm with 22 max damage.

Never HC SSF blind tele Worldstone at hell difficulty. Indeed never HC SSF blind tele anywhere in hell difficulty. Of course if it's SC, or if you're loaded down with end-game damage reduction gear (85+% all res, deeply stacked res, 50+% pdr, massive absorb, near max fcr & fhr, etc.) then do whatever you want.
@@thenuclearrabbit What do you think is the best duo-element sorc for casual players who mostly play with uniques and in the lum, ko, lem, fal, pul, um, mal runeword range, and can't expect to ever find enough hr to make Infinity? I've tried orb+wof, and I admit the damage is ok, but targeting wof on anything but bosses sucks, rendering it not so good against cold immunes. You have any experience with or thoughts on orb+nova? Meteor+orb? Hydra+orb? EDIT: I ask because I'm playing a hydra sorc now, just entered hell difficulty, and am thinking about respecing. (Otherwise I'll just wait until my main beats the game and finds a fire sunder charm.)
The best duo element is cold/fire. Lightning has different fcr breakpoints and gear requirements. Meteor orb used to be the standard and while it's fallen of a bit it's still very good. I do believe I have a couple of hydra + orb videos. It's a very fun and solid build. As long as you do fire + synergies and some frozen orb you'll be able to clear the game :)

I always do the double tir helm and shield if I can find the tir runes in a reasonable amount of time.
