His driving on the whole from what I can see isn't too bad. The mistake I feel more where lack of experience of judgement on his own. I never did a mock test and still past first time. I was told simply make the examiner feel safe. I personally just tried to treat it like another drive. The other thing is don't get hung up on the perfect drive with 0 faults. Personally I'd allow for 3 or 4 minors as it takes the pressure off not getting any faults
