I'm hyped beyond belief for his debut in Sonic 3, buuuut....in terms of faithful adaptations, this will for sure be the closest we'll get. I fear the official movie might go as far as not even having a Maria as part of Shadow's story or will just be replaced by Tom's niece or something. Who knows 🤔 Definitely hyped to see this fan film 😁
Sadly, Like someone already pointed out, Sonic 3 is marketed towards kids so we likely won’t even get his true backstory the way it was intended. This is the closest to the real thing as we’re going to get

This project genuinely blows me away. The animation and acting is outstanding, and the production quality and everything is beautiful. This is exsactly what I love about sonic as a series is just….the amount of love people have for these characters and how fucking TALENTED so many fans are - I have never been more proud to just….be a part of this community even in the tiniest, practically invisible ways. I’m super looking forward to this and I’ve never been happier ❤❤❤❤
Hello, I really want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart! This is a dream come true. Shadow and Maria have been my favourite characters since my childhood, they have a special place in my heart and you represented them beautifully, you really captured their personalities. Also, thank you to everyone involved: the actors' performance is on point, the graphics are amazing and I love the music. Even if I don't know Portuguese I really love Shadow's voice actor, he's able to show a wide range of emotions (and I love when Shadow shows his emotions). Thank you so much for this, I hope you'll get the attention you deserve. (This is my first TH-cam comment ever.)
