Great video!! Very nice character in that reverb! For me, that means I don't have to use my others reverbs to imagine and create wonderful sounding spaces such as these. Very useful!!! 🙂👍
Oh and yes with the UADx version, the update time is snappy enough and smoothing is such you can get away with automation on the params in just about every situation.

From my understanding the attic was the original reverb for Motown. I don't know the detailed history though. A tiled bathroom is always a good verb option! Thanks for checking out the review!

Berry was just having fun I suspect, yes, I know the moment you're referring to in Hitsville: The Making of Motown. While its true Hitsville used a house bathroom as an echo chamber right at the outset, The attics were the purpose built chambers. First in 2648, then 2644. 2648 is the chamber that everyone fought over and was in use nearly 24 hours a day, for years.

I wonder why they are calling it the Hitsville reverb because the hitsville reverb was the bathroom and this looks nothing like it.
