I don't get why there weren't fleets of Defiant Class ships during the Dominion war. They would have been easily produced on a quick basis due to how small they were.
they lack range. so they would only be good for broad front type attacks, quick skirmishes, ambushes. but if you want them to attack deep into enemy territory they would be not suitable.
@@cosmeticscameo8277 The second Defiant/Sao Paolo went to Cardassia Prime and back, and the Valiant was behind enemy lines for the better part of a year. Sure, they're not true long-range vessels, but surely enough for an invasion force?
@@stephandolby i was just watching a game called star trek domininion wars where they had to create a completely new class of ship that had the endurance of a galaxy class but cheaper and had more firepower than a defiant class.... a.k.a the achilles class. its' a pretty neat game. check it out.
Love the quantum torpedos color and how they launch... and love the Enterprise G.. Style and power...! That is fancy... the way it detaches and reattaches... *Would like to see the Admiral Marcus ship.. if can be run by 1 person perfect!!!

Mmm i love Federation swiss cheese. I'm a little curious, would it be possible to test the delta flyer? Like put it up against ships it can definitely handle and then gradually increase the difficulty until you get destroyed.
I've always wondered, why haven't they done any future defiant models? We have Enterprises through the letter L(?), why not some future variant of the defiant? We have a tos variant. Imagine a defiant for each future enterprise era ship, with all the weapons, engines, armor and tech upgrades that those ships have, plus a couple uniques thrown in.
Seriously, the defiant is older than the Enterprise E. This battle, with defiants of equal tech and weaponry, would probably have had a much different ending.
Why does the Enterprise G not have the F tail craft .? Did they cheap it out it would give 3 targets and where are the G swarm fighters to help her win.
i've noticed that Retro-Badger has this nasty habit of only ever turning 1 direction and not using his shields effectively by spreading out the damage to the different shield sectors. you don't only turn 1 direction then when that shield takes a beating keep turning that direction.
Hmmm before I watch...5 Defiant class? I don't know, I know both ships were built for war, but 5 on 1? I think you can take 2 out, maybe 3, but 5...I doubt it. I'm thinking Kobayashi Maru 😄 Wow, nice shooting again, I really thought 5 Defiants could have taken out the G. Now make the Narada attack the Death Star 😀 (if the program has that ship)
I have noticed when you take alot of damage before initiating a seperation like the Prometheus MVAM that the hull and systems repair the shileds do not however, a slight cheat in a way
The defiant is a tough little ship and five that much moreso, but it is roughly two generations (I generally figure by Enterprise iterations) older than the G. I would compare it to the Miranda fighting at least the Enterprise C. The newer ship will take some damage but win the fight unless it's captain is a bonehead
A Quantum torpedo is a Quantum torpedo though. While their pulse phasers might be less effective against G era shields, there isn't a ship out there that can casually shrug off a barrage of Quantums for long. Not even a Borg cube.
@@beckonerseven9517 you may have a point there. But I'd imagine that quantum torpedos were strengthened by the time the G came around. Regular photonic torpedos progressed over time. But, I do think you're right. There's no way the G would get away without any damage from this fight.
The main issue was the sheer concentration of fire, so spreading that out between three parts was the smart choice.
That was great tactical decisions. Defiant is designed to take down colossal ships aka Borg threat :)

How do you get this to run so stable?
The G needs to be brought into main stream and official G
