The opening scene is great (being sarcastic btw). A man directing the film he makes women talk whatever shit he wants to 😂 Comparing ourselves to a place of oppression and telling we are better off is just plain ignorance of the problem. If a woman or man feels they are oppressed, investigate it. Don't say "mere expression of oppression is freedom". Idiocy.

Nice short film. Everything was perfect except the intro scene. Could hv avoided that. All those dialogues in that particular scene was utter nonsense and & the person who wrote those dialogues won't even know what is feminism. The fact is that the scene doesn't hv any relevance in this whole movie. Director might hv added it only for showing his negative feelings about feminism which is absolutely wrong. Also it is wrong to say that women are getting full freedom in such a bloody patriarchal society. Please don't spread these kind of wrong messages hence it could influence lots of people out there. Its my humble request. Everything else was amazing.

@@chesanthofficial2621 Sir, feminism is all about gender equality. And i don't think that currently women are getting equal freedom as men. Of course feminism addresses the violence against women. But that doesn't mean that the whole ideology of feminism is centered around it. It's just a part of feminism. See, women in our society (including me) are struggling a lot. They even hv to fight for their own rights which has been guaranteed by our constitution. Both men & women are treated in different ways. Men are enjoying many privileges which are not available for women. And gender roles promotes gender inequality. Just take into account of the situation in our homes. The household works are done mostly by women and it is assigned as their duty while men are supposed to work and earn money, and the whole burden of home is taken care of by men. This itself is an eg of gender inequality. And of course we can site many such examples. The comment section won't be enough to list everything. Feminism is relevant in every single society where there is gender inequality, including tamil nadu (not only in states like gujarat and rajasthan as u stated). I agree that the condition of women have improved compared with the old generation. But that is not enough😊

@@chesanthofficial2621 I don't understand why it is not applicable in the current century. It is practically possible to bring about gender equality. But mentality of people should change. And im not ready to constrain this issue, ie gender inequality as a personal issue, it is a social issue. Therefore society should be accused for it. Majority of the people are facing this. And why should we follow all those rules created by the so called munnorgal? Follow only the things which is right & justifiable, no need to follow all those wrong folkways. The socio-economic and political condition of older generation is entirely diff from that of ours. So there is no point in following all those. If we hv to follow all those rules created by our ancestors many evil practices and superstitions would still prevail in our society including untouchability. Life is a process of learning and unlearning. We should be ready to unlearn wrong things. And why married women should compromise? It is wrong to say that women should obey her husband and there is no other chance for her etc etc. We should always follow our heart. No need to stay with anyone (including husband ) by destroying our own individuality.within the 20 years of my entire life i realized many things. Don't think that im saying all these because im facing issues from husband/ boyfriend. And don't normalize gender inequality. Women r facing socio-economic and political inequality. And it is a serious issue which has to be addressed. And people should take initiative for it, especially youth including u and me 😊
