Man that was awesome!! We are at the end of summer in New Zealand and its been one of the most terrible for wind I can remember!! So desperate to get out in some conditions like this!! Nice riding, excellent looping, both ways!! Nice backside hits.....you got everthing covered, even a bit of front side....

So nice to see conditions that we get at our local spot - is your sail one of those superlight ones? If so, how does it feel compared to your usual sails?
Yes, I am using the new Lithium KS3 which is an absolute dream sail. It is much lighter (30% lighter) than my previous sail and it has a tiny bit more stretch to the new material which provides more wind range. The sail feels lively yet stable and very easy to maneuver. The weight alone makes such a huge difference. I absolutely love it.
Sick technique on the forwards! I am trying forwards as well but seem to get stuck with the rotation halfway, any tips on initiating the rotation quicker and keeping the rotation?
I think the most important thing to focus on is your head and where your eyes are looking... you initiate the forward by turning your head and looking behind you. As you rotate through the forward your eyes will lock on the landing even before your body is finished rotating. The other thing that really helps rotate faster is pulling your back foot through the rotation.
