Using these as I watch this video. After EQ, they sound fantastic. Out of the box, they’re veiled sounding in the treble. ANC is quite effective and the transparency mode is much improved after the recent firmware update 5.6.1.
My remarks to these headphones: ✚ instant one tap to transparency+pause audio+no jingle/speech ← this is absolutely essential feature that only Sennheiser has; the main reason I'm stuck with Sennheiser no matter what; other brands add a jingle, or don't pause the audio when switching to transparency, etc. so dumb/irritating! ━ no auto wind reduction - to have wind reduction on you have to open an app, you cannot leave it on bc it weakens your ANC strength; in many other brands you can leave auto wind reduction on and forget it, ie. it won't impact your ANC strength when there is no wind (jabra, sony, etc.); as a solution for Sennheiser I programmed my tripple tap to turn ANC off when there's wind to avoid opening the app ━ keeps ANC when one earbud taken out, this is dumb; other companies have it right (auto transparency on); In my case I rarely remove one earbud, so not a big problem ━ the chunky case; It does fit into a sports trousers pocket tho; you can always leave the case at home as well
I have to point out one major issue with all of the earbuds with touch sensitive controls: they don't work at all when wearing a beanie or a hat covering your ears for example in a winter. I feels so frustrated with companies putting these touch sensitive controls, and where I live, we get months and months of cold weather, and getting earbuds like these would be money waisted, since I can not control the music while riding a bike during the winter for example. I find it interesting, why rtings is not taking this very real, and very common situation into concideration in their reviews.
I disagree. Just buy touch-sensitive winter gloves for 10$/€ and it works fine. I strongly prefer the touch controls to physical buttons (eg. Jabra). And you absolutely shouldn;t ride a bike with headphones on.

Can u make a video about it
??
Quite a charming presenter BTW!
Ive really grown to like these. I had the xm5 for a few days, but the sound was just mediocre to me. Sennheiser has a much more natural sound.
Incorrect, the previous gen also had 2 device multipoint. Not 3
