I have heard of some people who are immune to nikyo. Still I was doing some shadow practice of nikyo (moving my hands as if I were applying nikyo to a partner) walking around earlier today.

It is true. 20 years ago we had a police officer in our dojo that no joint lock would work on. He was "triple jointed" and no joint lock or nerve attack worked on him. It was bizarre.
