No it's not like that,U move the decimal of the divisor To make it a whole number. It depends how many times u move it to make the dot Disappear.
Now solve:
8640 ÷ 12
Why'd it turn to 12? Bcuz we need to make the divisor to a whole number
Why'd it turn to 8640?
We moved the dot twice on the divisor which means we move the dot twice here too

I guess no one understood your enigma, for someone who is completely ignorant in math like my self, the challenge came out of that last equation having 2 numbers instead of 1 past the decimal , so, only after going back to the beginning and hearing closely, ... "move the decimal to the right until it becomes a while number" ...did it become clear, other wise by going by the visual examples I would've ended up with 1.2 and not 12
