It is a really well put together video. So the fans holding up their personal baby photos is a nod to that. They recorded over two days, June 28th and 29th, 2014 in Milan Italy. And put the best of the stuff together. The stadium is only partially covered. You can see on some of the videos that it's raining. And 5SOS opened for 2 years for the boys.

5SOS were the opening act for this tour. There is a quite funny performance of 1d and 5sos having a pie fight while singing teenage dirtbag on stage if you wanted to check that out haha
Funny thing. They almost NEVER add effects to their vocals. They were constantly accused of lip syncing and some people don't understand that those types of effects can be added in real time. It doesn't mean it was prerecorded. And they were constantly off key a bit or changing and forgetting the words. I guess they thought they prerecorded their mistakes too. lol Same with Niall's guitar. People did...and still do for some weird reason...accuse him of not playing because he uses a wireless kit on all his guitars. They always say he's faking. He did it then because he was all over the stage. He uses them now because he changes out guitars for almost every song when he tours.
Thing is - who sings which part in the song changed (drastically) once zayn left the band meaning if you watch a story of my life live performance from 2015, their parts will be slightly different
