That's when Kody throws them away. We all know she, too, is aging and gaining weight, and infertile, but if her kids remain in the home, she can stretch that young illusion out a little bit longer.

The only “kids” left are Robyn’s two youngest. Her 3 older kids are adults now.
You can't actually believe all that will stop of the show stops do you? It's likely to become worse if they stop the show. No outsiders will be around to witness them being abused. I feel like as long as the show is filming the kids are slightly safer. They stop, who knows what will happen to them.

It's sickening actually. We already know they aren't sweet. Kody is an a-hole, Robyn is neurotic, and she teaches her children to act just like her ... Right down to having those fake tears. I'm surprised Ari doesn't have that dang pacifier hanging out of her mouth.

That kid and her pacifier. Grossed me out too because she's way too old.
An older child continuing to use a pacifier or sucking thier thumb can be used as a soothing tactic. Normally that's because there is on going trauma. Not always the case, but that's one reason.
There could be emotional tension in the home, and nothing physical. But I do not know them and this is just my personal observation.
So I guess Dayton isn’t included with the family anymore? Maybe he isn’t interested in the “show” so he stays out of it. If so, good for him.
He quit the show a while ago. Prob when he turned 18.

I grew up in and still live in Salt Lake City. The dresses that are worn by the Brown women are pretty typical of what I see on Sunday mornings in the summer as members walk to church. Some of the accessories worn by the older girls are quite a bit more more childish than what I would typically see. But the dresses are right down the line what you see LDS females wearing.

I also grew up in SLC, and my first thought was, it looks like a typical Sunday around here with the Mormons walking to & from church.

This is typical Mormon church wear. The boys must wear slacks and button ups, girls must wear modest dresses. Mormon church is more formal than most others.

When I was 18, my parents dropped me off at school a hundred miles away. Then when I was 21 they drove me from Michigan to Philadelphia and left me there. I had a job lined up and a place to live, but I was on my own. My mother wanted me to be independent.

I had a friend when I was a kid whose mom dressed her much younger than her actual age. This mom was always implying that my mom was SO much older than she was. She actually wasn’t but, while I was the youngest in my family, my friend was the oldest in hers and my mom happened to get a much earlier start having kids. There is no doubt in my mind that this woman wanted to appear younger by having younger kids. She didn’t want to be old enough to have a teenager.

I was raised in a cult. We dressed like old ladies and we were young girls. I was so socially out of touch. I never felt like iI fit in anywhere. I went through years of therapy. Now, at 65, iI see how cheated my siblings and I were. I made somewhat of a life and happiness, my siblings are a mess even in old age.
These parents have and are ruining their childrens lives. I promise you at least one of those 4 will be an addict. My siblings still are. I am not. I ran so far away that it helped me to grow.

What's even more bizarre is while his other children dressed modestly, we never saw them wearing this type of attire. It makes me wonder if they've change their ideologies to a different organization.
