I don't know why but this made me chuckle "Originally sold via mail order by Will Carruthers."
I don't know much about him but he looked like a mad man (in a good way) when he played bass for the Brian Jonestown Massacre around 2007 or so. I got into a convo on YT a few years ago with a guy who seemed to know him and it made me really like him (even though I don't know him).
You should get a copy of Will's book "Playing The Bass With Three Left hands", it's the best musical memoir I've ever read. Very funny, he's a really smart guy and, yes, a mad man!
Also, his first book, "Book of Jobs", is fantastic. You can buy a PDF of it from his website, highly recommended.
