- My dog got bit by something while camping! Today is a long day! Today we left the campsite and headed to the Leelanau Peninsula! Our first stop was Leeland, Michigan for Historic Fish Town! And of course we had to get some smoked fish and smoked fish dip! So good! We also grabbed a sandwich as well! Then we headed to the lighthouse, and drove the backroads back to the campground. After a visit with friends, and dinner, we noticed that Kira had a small bump on her nose, that very quickly got really big. So we had to call the emergency vet, just to be safe! What a day!

Jessica, every May, in Rochester NY, we have the Lilac Festival. We celebrate the blooming of these fragrant flowers. It's full of music, food and crafts. It goes on for 2 weeks.

The building with a bell tower could also have been a one room school at some point.
Not normally where schools in small towns were. Very common for churches to be right in the main drag though.

I just ate a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel for lunch. I love smoked fish. Unfortunately, we can't get any other type of smoked fish here in North Georgia. At least I don't know of any place that sells it. It is going to be close to 90 degrees here in Georgia for the next few days. I do not like the heat. Summer is coming. Mosquitoes are really bad here. Time to move to your state.

My dog has those same harnesses, same colour as Memphis, works well for my medium sized standard poodle.
Drew and I went up to Traverse City last year, in February, and went up the Leelanau Peninsula to the lighthouse. It was a really pretty drive, some snow, but not a ton. We had lunch at the bar & grille in North Port. Looks like you guys had fun!

That, " Fish Town," place kinda reminds me a little bit of the Sponge Docks area of Tarpon Springs, Florida, which among a few other places, I used to do part of my yearly Christmas shopping at, mostly because, I'm Not a huge fan of big shopping malls, I find them to be a bit overwhelming when it comes to making decisions on what to get for folks as holiday gifts, And because it was just such a cute little place to walk up & down & see stuff. They also had a sight-seeing boat ride, that you could sometimes see Dolphins from, which was my favorite part of it.

My dog got a bump like that once as well, but that was in the middle of winter, so we were really confused of what it could be.
The swelling dissapared right before I could take her to a vet, since it happend in the middle of the hollidays.

That had happen to my mom my got bit by something and she was so freaked out she got it on her shoulder and she was like did a spider got into my shirt that I didn’t know about because she got back from getting a massage she not sure if it for the towel or something else that might what had happened to Kira I think it might be something that was unexpected that happened on your day out in the blog
