    The Firehole in the YNP is unique and definitely the most amazing river on earth to flyfish! Thanks and keep going that way. I like very much your channel. 👍🎣

    Quality video, well done to all that made it happen. Love cutthroat, the natives of the Rockies.

    I really want to fish around there. The Teton is a bucket list for me as a fly fisher and a photographer. I am struggling between Idaho and Wyoming. What would you suggest?

      Not that hard to do both with a vehicle

      That is a tough call if you have to pick one. Living right by Yellowstone I can't decide where I want to go most times. So what I do is choose a mission. My next particular missions include, a Yellowstone river cutthroat on a dry over 22 inches, in the park, catch a brook over 20in. out of Henry's lake, and catch the salmonfly hatch on the Henry's fork, the Teton, or the snake. Here's a little secret. Hate crowds? Like pretty scenery? Want to catch lots of fish? Winter is underrated.

      As someone said, both is easy to do. Even on a long weekend.

      @@collin9159 would that cutthroat be coming from the thoroughfare? I fish that river east of Yellowstone and do very well for those fish. Last year I was up pretty far and the bears creeped me out after two days. I'm doing the thoroughfare next year. I always do the back country alone.

    • @collin9159

      @@Abandoned_Brane I've gawked at that section of water up from Yellowstone lake for years, if that's what the thoroughfare is. I meant below the lake. Yeah that area is designated "grizzly bear management area" meaning certain activities are prohibited, like I'm pretty sure you can't fish the lake from shore on that whole east side of the lake. I would maybe go in there with two other people or more, but being without my homies dog in the Backcountry, isn't my first choice. I'd double up on bear spray in there. Hope you get there to enjoy it again, takes balls to do that alone.

    Was that final section at the outflow public access water?

    • @collin9159
      @collin9159 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I know exactly where he was. I'll tell you that it's really obvious and pretty easily accessed. That Henry's fork area has so much public access water, it's an embarrassment of riches.

    How many times you going to post the same video? This is atleast the 3rd time I’ve seen it. Please post new stuff….

      Thanks for the feedback Colten. During the weekdays, Tuesday & Thursdays, we are posting new fly fishing tip videos. Saturdays are our new season full-length shows (nearly 30 of them coming) and on Sundays we post last seasons shows for our recent/new subs who probably haven't seen them. That is why you have seen some repetition. Wish we had more time to create new videos for Sundays but right now we barely have time to do what we're committed to. Take care
