She is mostly known there as enemy of the state because she wrote a critical report about Hungary as member of the European Parliament. She claims that the Hungarian government is breaking down the rule of law. The Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orban, is furious about her research.

I'm a working class individual from Hungary.
First of all, I'm really glad, that you guys take care of our situation.
I have to say thank you for your attention, and warm humanitarian care!
You see the country situation very clear, and may not be able to imagine, that how many of our individual own people is acting just as wrong as the politicians that you exposed here.
As a Hungarian citizen, it's kinda bad feeling to see that it is how we appear in world press.
However, no word was fake in this show about the subject, and living in this hell is a way more difficult, and unpleasant than it was exposed here.
Why I comment here, is that I feel it my personal responsibility to say, that even if the majority of people in Hungary is wrong, and brainwashed, there are just as many, who aren't!
Please always make difference between FIDESZ and Viktor Orban, and their people, and all the others!
Please, don't identify all Hungarian as them, even when he talks in the name of Hungarian people!

Aki a Sargentini-féle jelentésen nem háborodik fel, az menthetetlenül ostoba. A magyar, azért mert a magyarokat sérti (hülyének titulál bennünket, akik nem tudjuk mi a demokrácia), a külföldi meg azért, mert az egésznek köze nincs demokráciához. Few hours later they sayed something went wrong with the IT system,but they working on it.
Because of this I am not sure that the result of the election is trully the vocie of the hungarian people and not a result of a cheat.

As a Hungarian I thank you for this video, it summarizes what's going on quite well. (BTW, it's all just the tip of the iceberg). I find it hilarious, even though from the inside it feels more like a tragedy rather than a comedy. Hungary has 0 chance of democratically getting rid of this maffia, they can do whatever they want. Literally. They've already nationalized private pension funds. This week they passed a law in 23 hours (!) to phase out house savings funds because they were competitors to one of Orbán's friend's business (Home lottery, that nobody wanted to play). Our only hope is people like Sargentini who care to stand up for the wellbeing of others. Bottom line: please don't associate Hungarians with this guy. The majority wants them gone, we just can't do anything about it anymore. Ignore the paid trolls too.

Ik ben drie keer naar boedapest geweest en ik raad iedereen aan om er ook een keer naar toe te gaan. Geweldige sfeer, fantastische stad en het ziet er echt prachtig uit. Boedapest doet mij denken aan hoe Parijs was 20 jaar geleden. Het verschil tussen Boedapest en Parijs is echter de immigratiecrisis wat de stad om zeep heeft geholpen. Boedapest wordt beschermd tegen immigranten die niks nuttigs te bieden hebben. Parijs deed dat niet en nu is de stad veel gevaarlijker en heeft een veel serieuzere sfeer gekregen dat er vroeger niet was.
Mensen denken dat Hongarije tegen immigratie is alleen dit is volkomen onjuist. Hongarije ontvangt immigranten uit Europa en westerse landen met open armen als zij de waarden en normen van Europa begrijpen. Hongarije is echter NIET voorstander van immigranten uit niet westerse culturen die niks gemeen hebben met de hongaarse/europese cultuur.
Juist. Nog eentje die begrijpt. Wij genieten van meer vrijheid hier vandaag, dan welke West-Europese land dan ook op dit moment. Moeten ze een dictator vinden? Ga niet verder dan een deel van de EU parliament!
Ik ben blij om mijn land, en wil ik het niet op het westerse-model van heden!
The reason that the media is attacking the government in Hungary is that numerous liberal politicians may lose the elections in their own country. So I can understand why they are afraid...
Btw, I do not have such a bad opinion about socialists and liberal politicians in Western Europe. However they may not represent the interest of their own country :-), but they are far better than the "so-called left-liberal parties" in Hungary.
In Hungary (and in several other Eastern-European countries) the communists became the liberals and socialists. They have privatised, completely robbed and ruined our country. We do NOT want this so-called liberal-socialist Maffia ever to rule our country.

1. korrupció: Miért tény, mire alapozod? Én azt látom hogy 2012 óta egyre rosszabbodik a helyzet, jelenleg Sao Tome és Szenegál között lubickolunk és évről évre süllyedünk. Az EU-ból kb. mindeki előttünk, forrás:

Ha a forrás túlságosan Soros közeli, akkor nyugodtan ide linkelhetsz másikat ahol ezt cáfolják. Aztán: szvsz mindenki gondolkodás nélkül fel tudja sorolni OV családtagjainak, haverjainak, egykori iskolatársainak nevét, akikből mit ad Isten, mind kirívóan sikeres üzletember lett. Érdekes módon mind az elmúltnyolcévben gazdagodtak meg közbeszerzéseken (gondolom mivel a szabadpiacon nem éltek volna meg a hátszél nélkül). Ismételve azt hogy nem kívánom vissza a 2010 előtti rendszert, lécci sorold fel fejből hogy az akkori miniszterelnökök rokonaiból kik kerültek be az ország leggazdagabb emberei / legnagyobb földbirtokosai közé néhány év alatt.
2. több jogosultság mint hatalom: ez per pillanat nem annyira izgat, mert 2018-ban nem igazán volt számomra elfogadható, kormányképes ellenzéki erő. Bár azért itt is lenne alkalom polemizálni erről-arról.
3. A magánkézben lévő médiát gyönyörűen ki tudja fingatni a hatalom ha úgy gondolja, az állami hirdetések csak baráti oldara való irányításával - ezek nélkül csak a legnagyobbak tudnak túlélni (mittudomén Index, RTL).
Mindeközben a mérhetetlenül alacsony nézettséget produkáló baráti tv és rádióadókba ömlik a közpénz (EchoTV pl). Aztán ott a közszolgálati vonal (lol), amit szintén teljesen einstandoltak. Kontrasztnak ott van pl. például a ZDF, esetleg a BBC, ami legendásan aláveti magát a mindenkori brit kormánynak és pártfunkcionáriusok vezetik évszázadok óta, illetve ahogy nézem nem tartják kötelezőnek magukra nézve minden nap lepippantani a kedves vezetőt és padavanjait.
4. bírók: a bíróságok egy _független_ hatalmi ágat képviselnek, ott a kormánynak illetve pártoknak semmi keresnivalójuk sincs, hiszen ők lennének a fékek/egyensúlyok rendszerének egyik karja. Kivéve nálunk, ahol a példásan független Handó Tünde próbálja őket kézivezérelni. Ügyészségről még nem is beszéltünk (amiért a románoknál bilicsben viszik el a minisztereket például, ott nálunk "nem merül fel bűncselekmény gyanúja" - Microsoft ügy legutóbb ugye).
Nem tudják megcáfolni, mert az igazságot nem lehet :) Érdekes, soha nem úgy védekeznek, hogy amit (pl. Sargentini) mondanak az nem igaz mert...., hanem elkezdenek oda nem illő dolgokkal hárítani (zöld pulcsi, puszi) és hazudozni (nincs diplomája).

That journalist is infamous for being incapable of keeping his hateful, racist, fascist personal views at bay. He's spewing hatred virtually at all times, lost countless defamation lawsuits forcing him to retract articles, make public apology and rectifications. In his spare-time he's an organizer of the regularly held faux-religious right-wing rally meant to show demonstrative support for the Orbán-regime at the cost of tax-payers (just think about how many closet-Nazis like him can feel secure while walking along in a mass procession called the "Peace-march"). Despite his inciting activities, our government had no moral issues handing him the Knight Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit, which caused dozens of actually worthy people to send their own award back to the head of state because they didn't want to belong to the same "club" as him.

A kilátóprogram szerintem pont az EU hülyesége amúgy. Magánemberek és szegényebb önkormányzatok pályázzák meg, és nyernek, nem a maffia. Gyökér módon van kiírva, a magyar ember meg rájön hogy lehet kihasználni.
