You should use your w to autoreset when fight starts amd also block incoming damage for the short duration of the start of the fight.
This would also block at least half of cho's E dmg and give u a huge advantage.
Yi's W is currently on a much shorter cooldown than it used to be, meaning it'll be up by the time you reach near the end of the fight.
Your E also applies on your Q and it's not ticking down whilst you're in your Q or W. So it's best practice to activate E while you're in your Q animation if you haven't already activated it for a few first auto before Q.

what rank is that bronze 4 dirt 1? cho plays versus yi (only basic champion + q which does 100 in a wave) he didnt buy armor if he just start thornmail with armor boots you are out of game but the dirt 4 rank its hard, when i play in my rank on my sec acc in gold i have on mid one trick katarina or when i play zed mid i get malp with one item and boots he had 380 armor and i had 140 ad its impossible to kill him my q s does 60 dmg
