Not getting ditto with max hp was a huge miss by tobean
The Gothitelle he got instead did have potential though, he just got unlucky with the immediate defense drop before he could set up enough calm minds (also could have sent it out against Venusaur).

Ditto with max hp would be crazy (plus, if you give it a choice scarf, it outspeeds the opponent too)

Max stat is FF, stats are programmed in hex still probably for compatibility, anyone who used Action Replays back in the day remember 😂
It's like Cosmoem and Celestella weighs exactly 999.9kg but not more than 1 ton because that's the original limit of the weight system in Japanese version.(in the pound system it has 1 more digit so the upper bound is different)
But the difference is we can have pokemon weighs more than that now as there's size difference now, but max stat still stays 255, even Eternamax Eternatus does bounds by that despite it has over 1100 BST.
The programing reason to why 255 is the maximum is because in binary, the highest possible number that can be represented with an 8 bit interger (which takes up 1 byte of storage) is 255, which is 128+64+32+16+8+4+2+1.

I would add CTRL bars to the bingo card. Also maybe they could do sort of the opposite of this challenge choosing which stat to be the minimum value for each Pokémon then battle each other.
Max HP Ditto would go insane. Just copy any other max stat from your opponent and keep the max HP and have two max stats.

255 is the maximum one digit in binary code can reach. If you want to add more, you need more digits, which they didn't program more into pokemon (because why? They don't use more than 255)

How Does Kilowattrel One shot a Koraidon well the suns up with Hurricane, and out of 5 Hurricane is 4 fight lands all 5.
The specific reason beyond programming has to do with bits and how binary works, so when you have eight bits it goes by powers of two so from two to the power of zero for a one all the way to two to the power of seven for a total of eight bits, each bit is like a light switch when the 2^0 is flipped the bit for one is "on" which reports out as one, when all are off the value reported out is zero. In networking a bit is reserved as a parody bit in case of data koss, so technically eight bits becomes seven with one bit being reserved for parody.

Steal this idea! But instead of max any one; you have to max each stat once, your opponent 1/2 each stat once...
You look... pick your mon (you know but say left right or center to hide)... your opponent 1/2 a stat without knowing the mon... you then max any 1 stat that's not the nurfed stat... your can only pick each stat once so the later the pick, the less choices that fit.
Edit; if the last round, both players have to pick the same stat, then it is maxed, then 1/2ed to around 123.
