Babooshka - Kate Bush (Piano Cover)

Thought I would get caught up with my piano covers - another throwback to 1980 and a return to the legendary Kate Bush! From the first track in her third studio album, Never For Ever, a song that always interested me, Babooshka.
Many of Kate's songs are layered in unconventional but immensely clever musicality - and this one, like Wuthering Heights, also uses uncustomary but very distinctive harmonies and it does feel like we're in a minor key, but occasionally we hear a sudden but bittersweet modulation to the tonic major (D), which gives it a bit of a lift and an almost Slavic feel, which is appropriate given the nature of the song.
I felt this track needed a beat to keep it in check, so opted for a MIDI drum track. I feel it came out quite well considering I didn't have anyone to play kit on it (drums are NOT my first instrument) and yes, your ears are not deceiving you - for the ease of learning this song, I decided to transpose the original's key (E flat minor) down a semitone to D minor (sorry to the original-key purists out there!)
