- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 10 ก.พ. 2025
- Next up in the 2024 'Initial Test' series, we have the offerings from Callaway, with the Paradym Ai Smoke Drivers.
In this test Nick Hibbs and I go through 3 out of the 4 models, being;
Paradym Ai Smoke Max
Paradym Ai Smoke Max D-type
Pardym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond
The missing head is the Paradym Smoke Max FAST, which will be brought to you in another review.
With so much R&D going into this driver with the use of Ai, this series of drivers promises a lot from the marketing campaign they have released.
Is it just a revved up Paradym from the 2023 release? Are the aesthetics improved? Does the release warrant 4 new heads?
Come find out as Rob and Nick hit all 3 driver heads in this initial test of the new products.

@robpottergolf Rob what did u think of ping 430 driver with Rdx shaft would u try ping i530 irons N review them on TH-cam
Great review and nice to see a review from someone who’s not smashing it 300 yards which in my opinion is not the majority of people watching these videos , thanks 👍
Thanks Roger. There’s plenty more to come from Nick and I in the studio, so please stay tuned and subscribe if you’re interested in what we’re bringing.
It means a lot to have folks support 👍🏻
Agreed - I'm a 88-91 swing speed so the results are something I can relate to .....
Have loved you testing clubs since back in the Rick days. When I’m not wore out, I’ve got the same club head speed. Makes the reviews way more relevant for me! Keep it up!
Thanks buddy. Still some tweaking to do based on feedback but we’ll get there
I have a swing speed of about 96, 9 hcp and went to a Calloway fitting and ended up with the triple diamond with the weight in the back. HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX 50 and just love it. Gained 20 yards distance over my Stealth with better dispersion.
Thats brilliant to hear!!!! Like I said in the vlog, the Triple D is just a seriously enhanced version of my Cobra F9. So that’s still a big possibility for me
I’m toying with the idea of changing from 60g to 50g shaft kinda like the lighter driver
Wow. Swing looks great Robo! You have put some work it! Good to see you back on the Tube!
Thanks mate. Means a lot. The star is Nick though! His knowledge of out of this world crazy, and I couldn’t deliver these videos without him. Please share the video around your socials so we can get more people to see the knowledge of Nick and see how powerful a custom fit really is! This will become more relevant in future videos
Like the format of the videos, nice to see an average ish swing speed on test. Keep up the great work 🏌️♂️
Cheers Mark. This was the point in us doing them but having Nick as the fitter/builder I think steals the show with his knowledge. Hopefully, when we get into deeper testing of products it’ll show even more
Good stuff mate, a review for us mere mortals are hard to come by these days never mind a good one.
Cheers pal. Glad you liked. Please free free to share it around and we can grow the community, so more can benefit from what what Nick is gonna discuss in coming videos, as we get into fitting with these
Brilliant review. That facility looks incredible, Will, and I of course, are very jealous of you hitting these clubs there. Keep up these great videos.
Thanks mate. Means a lot! It’s a work in progress and feedback has been good with some excellent critique for me to improve it and get to the shots quicker. Were a work in progress
Well done Rob. Interesting results. The takeaway is try all models. I look forward to your vids . Great bit of editing.
Cheers pal. Really appreciate that. Please share it in your socials so we can spread the word I’m back and here to stay! 👍🏻
Wow! My opinion of the triple diamond was exactly as you have stated all along, I figured if you didn’t have at least 110 mph clubhead speed and we’re almost a pro that it would not work. My swing speed is 95 to 102 mph and I use both a 2003 Paradym standard model or Epic Max driver. I love them both, and they work well. It was great to see Rob get the best distance with the triple diamond which is actually a shocker. Which goes to prove an average golfer could likely hit this club as long as you’re not extreme heel or toe it could produce good results. I remember Rob from back in the Rick days testing the GBB EPIC! Great video thank you guys
Cheers mate. This is such nice feedback and exactly why Nick and I wanted to make these vlogs.
It’s basically my F9 but a little more temperamental 😂😂😂
Another good review Rob well done 👍
Cheer Paul. Thanks for the feed back pal. If you’ve not already please share it around
Outstanding review Rob and I loved the way you hit the triple diamond, I would like to see you hit it with the weight forward and lofted up (or a higher lofted head) just to see the numbers
Yeah it’s an option for sure. The weight back will probably still perform better
The second of your videos that I’ve watched with Nick and I have to say they are the most informative videos I’ve seen for a long time. I enjoy the Club Champion videos and I’d put your relationship with Nick on a par with Fraser and Mikey ……
Mate, thank you so much for that. Nick is like family to me and that’s the friendship he and I have. He’s like a big cousin 😂
Fraz and Mikey are without doubt a dream team and I’m proud to say they’re friends of ours and I do speak to Fraz, particularly quite often via social media.
They’re deffo the blueprint, without a doubt.
I’ve just switched to this. Amazing driver. I got incorrectly fitted. I swing at at circa 98mph but was put in a regular shaft. Spinning it at 3.5k. Moved to this with a 60g stiff shaft and now 2400rpm. 250 carry rolling at to 270. Massive for me that.
Wowser!!! I car doesn’t get to 3500rpm 😂😂😂
A proper fitting makes such a difference. Was it done at a standard retail store, originally?
250yd rolling to 270yd is the stuff dreams are made of, for me! Top man 👍🏻
@@robpottergolf I’m not that quick swing speed stock swing speed is circa 98mph. Before with a light shaft I was only carrying it 235. Because of the spin. But now because I had a proper fitting it’s so much better. The fitter originally wasn’t a pga pro it’s only a small shop, advised me to go for a faster shaft weighing 45g stating it was a ping no flex or auto flex shaft. I was swinging it quicker but high spinny flight. In the wind it was horrendous. I’m not sure how it works I didn’t think shaft makes much difference but it’s massive. Plus I feel as though I have so much more control. It’s going further even though I’m swinging it slower.
Good review
Glad you enjoyed it pal. They’ll get better, I’ll make sure of it 👍🏻
@@robpottergolf cheers mate interested in seeing a witb also a video on some of the new irons out there …
Take that Triple Diamond on to the course & watch it ruin your game. YES they should be fearful of it, 17 handicapper using a triple diamond, OMG!🤣🤣🤣
You’re really bad for people’s game, really bad! Stop doing club reviews, just STOP. Leave it to the professionals.
DRUIDS might even give you a full sponsorship deal now for being able to hit a Triple Diamond on a simlator.
Sorry 2023 Paradym lol
