- In this ESP32 project, I have shown how to make home automation using ESP32 Bluetooth and IR remote control Relay to control 8 appliances from mobile, IR remote, and manual switch or push buttons. You don't need any WiFi connection for this ESP32 Bluetooth smart home system.

1. ESP32 DEV KIT V1
2. 8-channel 5V SPDT Relay Module
3. TSOP1838 IR receiver (with metallic casing)
4. Switches or Push Buttons

Required Components for the Smart Relay Module PCB:
1. Relays 5v (SPDT) (8 no)
2. BC547 Transistors (8 no)
3. PC817 Optocuplors (8 no)
4. 510-ohm 0.25-watt Resistor (8 no)
5. 1k 0.25-watt Resistors (10 no)
6. LED 5-mm (10 no)
7. 1N4007 Diodes (8 no)
8. Push Buttons (8 no)
9. Terminal Connectors
10. 5V DC supply
------Important points for this ESP32 project:------
1. IR receiver sensor must have a metallic casing. Otherwise, you may face issues while trying to get the Hex code.
2. After compiling the code, you have to press and hold the BOOT button of ESP32 until the code starts uploading.
3. No need to install BluetoothSerial library separately in Arduino IDE.
4. You can use any IR remote for this project.
5. First you have to pair the ESP32 with Mobile Bluetooth, then connect ESP32 with Bluetooth App.
6. Please take proper safety precautions while working with high voltage.

During the tutorial video, I have explained all the steps to make this home automation system, how to program the ESP32, how to connect mobile Bluetooth with ESP32 for this home automation solution.
In this ESP32 project, you can use any IR remote, just get the hex codes of unused IR remote buttons, and control the appliances with those buttons.
This smart relay module can be used for different ESP32 projects which I will cover in upcoming videos.

Bro, I planned to keep my Esp32 in my main DB box. But the manual switch (GPIO pin) need to be atleast 40 meter away from the micro controller. If I laid GPIO pin wire for 40 meters will it still work ?

Usually this is your best home automation project at low cost and user efficiency And if you add eprom features for previous state after restart.
Kyuki app socho ....bluetooth and ir remote har kisi ke hota hai. Har koi easily connect vi kar sakte.
Wifi vagera features achcha hai lakin configuration krna har kisi ka baat nehi. Connection karna aur vi dikkat hota hai jaab app wifi router change karte ho aur jaab app ea project banake wall pe fix karlete ho. Thik about it.

Install or update the ESP32 board. No need to install BluetoothSerial library separately
To control nodemcu using blynk app, we have to keep connected the board to the wifi, right? If we don't have wifi for 24 hours then is there any other option to control the nodemcu??
