We just bought 2 bedroom swivel chairs and dining room chairs from Arhaus. Delivery was 3 weeks and white glove! The pricing was good. I found the swivel chairs on sale and I took a screen shot. We got to the store 3 days later-the price went up back up. I showed my screen shot with the date- and they honored it!! What a great store with great service and quality.
I used to work at Neiman Marcus, it is no accident when it comes to smells, music, the mood. All that has been designed by psychologists to optimize customer spending. And trust me, consumers fall for it every time. Hedonic Treadmill.

@@HouseofValentina I used to be on that treadmill more or less. Then I decide to create rather than consume. It is fascinating to study human psychology, I’ve always been interested to know whey we behave the way we do:).

As someone who had bought a sofa from Arhaus from back in the day, straight out of a magazine bc they had no TH-cam or Instagram yet. I can contest to the timelessness, quality and care about Arhaus. Abosolutely, love them.

I really love you and your husband. You guys are so much fun! Love when you take us to shopping but, I find it strange that, being a interior designer you just go for modern stuff. I would like to see transitional styles. And I believe I'm not alone on this wish.
Thank you for the comment. I’m a bit different than some other designers in that I have an aesthetic that I mostly stick to. I’ve done client homes in more transitional style but currently I design most projects, and my home, in more of a modern quiet luxury style.
My favorite design style is modern, quiet luxury! I find that I am in lock step with Vs style!

I am wondering what color swivel chair will coordinate/ accent w a dark gray couch and dark blue recliners? The flooring is gray planks w a white ish stream of color.
The rug is cream base, blue and other colors in the design. The walls are a light tan.
Love the Hattie! And we weren’t allowed to sit on the arm of the sofa either 😂

The sofa arm comment cracked me up (and gave me a little PTSD LOL) - I have to admit I have tried to train my kids to not sit on the sofa arms either, just from habit and perceived “good manners!”

The rounded dining chairs remind me of a chrome and glass dining set I had many years ago. But the seats extended forward a couple of inches. We had a guest one time who was trying to make a point and leaned forward to hit the table with his hand. The chair slid out from behind him, and he wound up on the floor with the glass tabletop on top of him!

I love Arhaus!!! I have 7 light fixtures and a mirror waiting to be installed in our home remodel. Both of the cabinets are fabulous.

Get the Hattie! We have it in our home as well as a couple of swivel chairs and the kipton couch! LOVE them all! P.S. Have the Rodin chairs and my 6' 6" son in law agrees that they are comfortable!!
I was just looking at the mirror you passed. Do you remember a few years back, french style mirrors, shabby chic - we all had them, or wanted them,(at least here in Europe) with the arch top, they were small, i just noticed the one you passed, it has the same shape, but now they are big.
ARHAUS has amazing items!! The quality is one of the best I’ve ever seen. We are planning on purchasing the Hattie sideboard in ebony 😊. We have the bodhi cabinet and love it!! Definitely get the Arched Hattie cabinet you will not regret it lol… love your shows 😊GOD BLESS

Oh yes to that black chunky coffee table. I could totally see that in your lounge room especially as a rectangular version. It would be the pinnacle of mixing styles (as much as I love the marble ones you have). Love the olive tree and the dining table near it. Not into the tufting, mustards or orangey/yellow woods they had. There were some great dining chairs too. ❤

Wonderful store. As far as catering to the purchaser, I agree, it's a tool of the trade in retail. Ikea does it also. Truly it's all over. Loved shopping though. Lots of fun to look.
No to the gold sofa. I'd choose a neutral and make a set of the pillows gold. The gold swivel chair...maybe.

I've watched a gal trying to put those doors on and yeah.... let's just say one is slightly higher then the other. ( She even discovered that issue.)There a little tricky to put on and have line up perfectly. I'm not trying to discourage you just food for thought.

If you are ever in San Diego you have to visit the Arhaus in La Jolla- stunning two level showroom.
I think you should go with the flat topped cabinet for your house. If you had circle topped windows then the curved top cabinet would look better. ❤just my opinion

Love Arhaus although it is way out of my price range. I walk thru and try to copy their look with more affordable pieces and buy hurricanes and candles there.
I also often find myself unable to choose between 2 things I love so much. I am crazy for the Novoli and the chunky square coffee table. Hi Valentina, I watch you channel all of the time and love the way you decorate. I am in need of your help. My husband and I are in the process of getting a new construction home and I am overwhelmed with what furniture to purchase.
Did you mean artrim on that rug instead of atrum? I looked up a couple of those rugs you like. The designs are nice but they are mostly rayon and my research says that that is not good. And considering those rugs are top dollar. Maybe you can recommend similar designs with better fibers.

I have some pieces from aurhaus pieces I’ve had my sectional especially designed for my upstairs media room chose fabrics . Took lil longer than expected but wow beautiful substantial piece . Only thing have to disagree it’s not a fraction of RH , it’s compatible. My sectional cost us 7000 ,10 years ago so obviously not affordable for everyone. Word of advice check the marble tables from under the table it’s not solid marble they are lined only on top with thin marble or stone . Checked beware not all pieces quality.

Where I live we have an Arhaus and RH within a 1,000 ft of each other. You can see Arhaus from RH and RH from Arhaus. We are lucky!!

My friend bought some things there…coffee table was over 2000k now it’s more. Not budget friendly. We were in Arhaus yesterday. At Christmas we nearly bought the Hattie console but I changed my mind. It’s beautiful but isn’t quite what I want.
What did you go with instead?

I feel the wall needs a larger piece with that huge tv hubs had to have🤣) right now IKEA LOMMARP console in black is the holding piece. But of course I want nicer quality there in my great room. The Hattie will look beautiful with your design.

In terms of you purchasing another new cabinet. You need to design what will l place in them as they seem very different in size.

Arhaus has beautiful things but they are by no means less expensive than RH in my area. Most of their pieces here are more expensive than RH. The quality is superior to RH, IMO.

Arhaus is "still on a budget"? I have bought several pieces of furniture there and there is no denying that the quality has decreased compared to what it used to be with the prices moving in the opposite direction, not to mention that they charge a lot for shipping.
i love you Valentina and I know this is your opinion but in MY opinion this is a stretch 😂. Arhaus customer service alone (in and out of the store) is why i will never buy from them again. I’m in a few groups and the horror stories of how Arhaus treats the customer once the item is delivered is another reason. A lot of their items are over priced for the quality too.

We have purchased so many pieces from Rh and recently bought some bar stools and a painting from Arhaus. I want to point out that the customer service was AWFUL. I mean, you get the A team at Rh and you get the C- team at Arhaus AT BEST. We were so disappointed. Everything from billing to delivery was a disaster. I can't speak to the quality yet of the furniture as we are still in construction and have not used the new barstools. However, we were quoted a delivery date and when our chairs arrived without the painting we were then told the painting was made to order and expect 5-7 weeks. WOW! You would think they would have told us that. So, just want to give a heads up to anyone who is accustomed to the awesome customer service at RH. We did not receive anything of the sort from Arhaus.

Arhaus furnitures are timeless. I saw a lot of stunning pieces but do not fit in my Condo. They should start a line for small spaces. I have not encountered an Interior Designer that specialize on Small Spaces.

I love all the furniture designs; however, not everything that looks good is. I have an old-school 1960s mid-modern couch that had boucle fabric. Of course, I had to have it reupholstered because of the decades of dirt and germs embedded into the fabric. That said, I don't think it's wise to purchase boucle furniture today. That fabric holds dirt and germs and unless you're into that, don't buy it! The dirt and germs get caught in the fabric, and it will begin to feel and look dirty very quickly.
Most of their furniture is cheap imports and salespeople are so pushy

Because quality is costly, many want their base pieces neutral and then layer assessories of choice colors such as pillows and blankets. The pieces last forever and you can change out colors easily. Like Valentina, I love neutrals but you could choose anything to go with these pieces
