Hopefully many people will recognize this Sape Instrument, FYI it's a music instrument of Dayak People, specifically Kenyah/Orang ulu and Kayan Sub-tribe, that spread across Borneo/Kalimantan island (Indonesia and Malaysia). Some well-known Sape Player are Jerry Kamit, Alena Murang, Uyau Morris and Thambunesia.

Speaking of unusual instruments, I'm challenging you Rob: Find an Asian musician(s) to show you a Korean *geomungo* and a Chinese *guqin.* Both are great instruments that I know you'll love, they sound beautiful, and they're not hard for a guitarist to pick up.
