I don't know how many times I listened to this Gayathri song. The version in the movie was sung by Vijay Yesudas. But this remix version by Gayathri far surpasses the original one. Here the lyrics are more distinct and the sangathis of the song have more definition. The orchestration , I feel, is richer and pierces our heart!! While listening to the song our mind pines for something, which we never can fulfil!! We are in a magic spell and the moment the song is over, we are back to the stark reality of life, reminding us, these are transient!!
