As to the exotic question I've been really loving Behemoth with an Armamentarium build (stats 20, 60 100, 100, 40, 20). Especially with good players using your first grenade baits them into thinking they baited out your trash allowing you to hit them with the second one. When it comes to general quickplay then it's just raw hilarity.

Great video as always, but I can’t help but remember when everyone was complaining that not only was the Warlock Stasis subclass by far the best in the game, it also had the “best super.” Ah how times change.
Been trying to get better at PvP and decided on behemoth, and your videos help me understand it better, plus the advanced movement is what's been holding me back thanks bro, keep it up...L8rZ
Two things that ill add to this. 1)For the normal melee sometimes you can get the melee to hit from your origin/start of the animation (doesn't happen often). It's helpful in 2v1 melee duels with dunes. Punch one dunemarchers change turn to the other guy melee ability hits the first guy you punched killing them and then the melee ability hits. 2) For the super, if you do not do a directional command like w you can just slam straight down and you won't do the slow dunking animation. Helps when you really need to freeze people asap. Other than that I really liked the slide jump boost trick, even more mobility I love it.
Good work. Lots of clips as examples in the crucible, not a private match (though those were useful too) makes this a good teaching video. I thought I knew everything about Behemoth but you showed me that slide speed boost.

I love this video, very informative and unbiased also showing how to avoid certain things. Only place where I defer is the stat distribution with mobility and resilience, I prefer 3 - 7/8 - 9 - 8 - 7 -7 since resilience became so important with stasis and 3-4 mobility is basically the best for Titan jump.
Not sure if it works on PC, but on Xbox (Series S anway) after you have released the Shiver Strike melee and the opponent starts to fly backwards you can quickly hit melee again and you kind of lunge towards them more so than you would with a regular melee (kind of like Synthoceps). This can offset the need to see if they hit a wall or trying to pull your gun out to finish them. Obviously Shiver Strike can be hit and miss, though, and sometimes you hit them and kind of go through them whilst they remain stationary!

Gotta say I love the idea of you hosting scrims. If I could be so bold to make a suggestion it would be cool to do some 3v3 teams where 1 person's the "sherpa", 2nd's somewhere in the middle of competency, with the last person being either new or struggling to make PVP work for them. The whole idea is if it works as a format then players can graduate up the ladder with the 2nd teammate becoming a "sherpa", last person becoming competent, etc., etc. rinse and repeat as desired.
This would be idea, but hard with a large group of people. We’re essentially going to be trying what you’re saying though - hope to see you in the discord!
@@CastleContent TBH while the idea sounds great in theory I'll admit it does seem like it's a logistical headache to get set up and running. I guess the ideal would be to encourage players to sorta do this organically on their own with some help/nudging.
You can also shift mid-slide to queue into another slide instantly instead of having to wait until the sprint animation to repeat a slide the second time.
So I mained top dawn for a few seasons and I use the dusk a lot like the solar grenade. Its chip damage, the damage ticks tell me how many enemies are there, it controls terroritory and forces bad rotates. I really like it. also, its complete negating of weapon accuracy is BUSTED.
One thing I might add, I heard that holding backwards when doing the slam in super makes your slam vertical and much quicker. Helps prevent people from getting under you and gets you out of the air faster. Haven't tested it myself, but it seems like a good tip if it works

Another thing to note with the super, using DuneMarchers the Super melee activates lineal actuators and you can get some nice multi kills around the one you actually melee.

Haha yeah catapult is very strong for Titan skating, but that technique was banned in scrims for a very long time so I got so used to strafe now I can’t go back 😂
@@CastleContent I don't use it to skate really. I just prefer the upward momentum. It's like a single hunter jump and has saved me from falling off of many maps haha
Just a heads up, duskfield can proc Whisper of Hedrons without actually freezing anybody. You can throw it on an opponents shield or ice wall and it will proc extra damage and allow you to 2 tap with a 120
Also, sometimes you can double punch with titan melee, it's sometimes inconsistent. Not sure if there is a way to consistent double punch and effectively "1punch" someone
One eyed mask cos even though it no longer has a damage buff, what it does have is a HP regen+++ an overshield which with 100 rec is insane and it chains every 2 enemies to me it feels like healing you in those moments where if you were 1 hit their third teammate would clean you up, especially with risky stasis nade wall plays
Dune Marchers your a God I'm not kidding. Soo much damage you will have one tap howl if the storm Melees and the lightning shatters the stasus crystals for you.

I just keep everything I get. I never dismantle gear until my vault is full, then I do my loadouts, then I clean my vault. I highly recommend checking my “#1 Tool in Destiny” video about DIM as well as an older one named “Loadout Optimized” (it’s in my resources playlist I believe)
I feel like the titan melee sucks. I feel like the game would be better with a garrison movement ability than this. My mindset is that this ability is meant for attacking, not movement. Hunter dodge and warlock dash are strictly movement based. They don't cause any damage - with exceptions. Titans are the only class that (to an extent) use their ability for both attack and movement. Sure it is 100% unique. Similar to how hunter dodge can reload weapons - its unique. But idk, it just doesn't mesh right in my head. Give titans a movement ability. At the end of the day, all these different movement abilities are not balanced right. Hunter requires mobility, has a cool down, and doesn't deal any damadge. Titan's and warlock's both don't have to worry about cooldowns (besides the minor few seconds for Icarus dash.) and they don't have to worry about stat distribution. If I were to rework the subclasses, I would give all three a movement ability that deals no damage and have a second ability that does (but does not move - or something similar). This could be as major as reinventing the class abilities. Or make it a scenario like Titan's and their throwing hammer (or hunter and throwing knives - you get the point), if your hammer is charged then you're able to throw it. If not, you just normal melee. Make something similar to ig. The Hunter is pretty easy. Give them a dodge that has a unique trait, like how stasis freezes with the aspect, and if they have a fully charged doge, it'll freeze/slow. If they don't have a fully charged dodge, they will just normally dodge. Or hey, make marksman dodge and gamblers dodge aspects and fiddle around with unique stuff like that. Warlock and titan could then get a marksman's dash looking thingy too. idk, just spitballing at 1:00 in the morning.

Slide boost works on controller better with catapult to maintain momentum but works
