Veronica never disappoints when she's on a season. Who else can sit out so many seasons and come back like she did on The Ruins and have one of the most legendary fights in Challenge history? Veronica that's who. She's the best at pushing people's buttons.

Ohhhh my Gawddddd!!!! Love me some Veronica!! One of the first players in the game to get dirty and manipulate. She learned early on from Emily and never looked back. I absolutely loved her in the early seasons of the Challenge. I agree with the comments and would love to see a “Legends of the Challenge” season with her Rachel, Coral, Tina, etc. her fights with Katie are gold!! I hope to see her on another season soon. Thanks for this one Drew!! You have to do Katie and Rachel soon.

Veronica’s ability to get people to do her dirty work in the earlier seasons was quite remarkable. It’s funny trying to watch her play the same dirty games now and it totally not working. The game has evolved, there are new competitors, and her usual tricks don’t work anymore.
cici88 her game still works. She managed to change the entire vote on dirty 30 from whoever they wanted to throwing a wrench in and putting up Leroy just so she could be taken more seriously. I fucking loved it.

Katie vs Veronica was the originally mean girl rivalry. I will always remember Katie's performance on the Inferno 2. Truly remarkable considering the odds stacked against her. And she got to say a big fuck you to Veronica at the end.
Veronica/Tina/Rachel were still my favorite alliance though lol.
I think Veronica is better TV now, looking at how Veronica has actually been good on her recent appearances (Well, except S32) where as Katie kinda flopped on AS.
Veronica is one of my favorites, I don’t think her chances are strong anymore because politicking is really her strongest point of the game. She took too much time off and barely know the newer cast members. She’s a boss and I’ll love to see her comeback but she’ll need to figure a way to play better now.
I think that's everyone's gameplay especially the OGs playing with all the newbies. But I totally agree. I'd love to see her back on the Challenge and you never know, maybe enough time has passed she could lull everyone and get her way back into a finals. I actually miss seeing Veronica on The Challenge. She made for such good TV and she was a good a competitor overall. This is a great video that showcases her tenure on the show very well 😁. I know you stated that the Inferno II was the first challenge were the player that was being voted in was being voted by the opposing team but this actually isn't the case. The voting process was exactly the same on the Inferno I (and the Inferno 3). In fact the format for all of the Infernos (unlike the Gauntlet) were virtually the same except that in the first Inferno the teams were The Real World vs. Road Rules (the last challenge that we would ever see Real World and Road Rules compete against each other 😥) and the last two were the Good Guys vs. the Bad Asses. You probably already know this by now being that I'm posting this comment a year later lol, but I thought I'd mention it as an fyi for anyone else who may not have known.
Why didn't you mention Tonya beating the hell out of Verónica on the ruins, that's the highlight of her challenge career

I love Veronica Portillo! She needs to return to the Challenge for icons/legends vs. Rising Stars season. Icons/Legends (Abram, Anessa, Bananas, Brad, Camilla, Cara Maria, CT, Derrick, Jordan, Mark Long, Nany, Rachel, Sarah Rice, Veronica, and Wes) versus the Rising Stars (Amanda, Ashley Mitchell, Bear, DaVonne, Dee, Georgia, Hunter, Josh, Joss, Kam, Morgan, Paulie, Theo, Tony Raines, Tori, and Turbo). It would be one epic showdown!!!

I think a ton of these past contestants have moved on, and have stable careers that they can't take 6-8 week breaks from.

@@crazypurpleglow Paulie is necessary especially since Bananas, CT, and Wes are getting near the age of leaving the show. I would love to see Paulie, Cara Maria, Hunter, Wes, Devin, and Sarah Rice team up to take down Bananas.
I laughed so hard when in Dirty 30, Kailah told Veronica to “proof herself”. Is like Veronica and others from the begging paved the way so people like Kailah could be in The Challenge.
CT feels that way about Veronica as a partner because she started doing challenges as a vacation benefit and not taking things very seriously. I do like her but I wouldn't want her as a partner based solely on that either.
I'll ride with Veronica if they had a fresh meat 3. She's very smart and has a dark influence on the house. Political game was atleast a 9.5 out of ten. Not the most in shape but could give a good partner who was athletic and strong a political ride to a final if he do as she says.

She's a J Lo wannabe. Hahah. Kidding. that's what some say and to be honest...Veronica came after J Lo was famous but before J Lo was huge and known by everyone. Veronica herself might not even known who J Lo was when she was on road rules. But she can't help it she looks like J Lo..I always find that insult strange.

Been a fan of “RW/RR Challenge” since from the start.. Veronica was one of my favorites. I love seeing the vets come back and especially win. She said she paved the way for these other females and I believe she is correct!

I’ve seen all the seasons since the first road rules and this video was a delightful walk down memory lane for me, appreciate you showing the season openers with all the cast members! I loved Veronica in the early seasons. She was very entertaining and definitely ahead of her time when it came to the political part of the game. I think the game has passed her by and she probably shouldn't return to do anymore seasons. She could still hand politically but without her longtime allies and being out of shape, she doesn't stand much chance of becoming a champ again.

Veronica could be a strong candidate for Big Brother. She could be her season's Christine (BB16), Vanessa (BB17), Michelle (BB18), Elena (BB19), Kaitlyn (BB20), and Christie (BB21): the pot-stirrer. Also, I think she could be a shoo-in 'The Challenge: Legends vs. Rising Stars'' anniversary season (think The Challenge's version of Winners at War).
I felt so bad for CT that was a short season for him
That season was so not well thought out. Like it was anticlimactic to have a redemption house when 80% of the people were going to be eliminated because they weren't picked by someone. Such a wasted season for both. Thanks for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!

I used to hate how horribly she treated Amaya in the early RW vs RR challenges.
I was rooting for Veronica so much on dirty 30. It sucks that she was sent to redemption straight away. Seems unfair considering how well she did that season

I wish they would bring back Tonya and Veronica in the same season. I know this would never happen because Tonya has been banned but I always enjoyed the fights between them.

If Tonya is still banned that's ridiculous. There have been multiple men who have engaged in violence throughout the years and they're still on the show today... (Lookin at you CT and Darrell). She better not still be banned.
Side note: Darrel's fight with Brad was absolutely provoked and I dont blame him but a fight is still a fight no matter how it started and he kicked Brad's ass 🤷♀️

Not to age myself, but I’ve been watching the challenge since day one. And Veronica has always rubbed me the wrong way. She just seems fake. But ultimately, she f*d CT on final reckoning and that is a challenge cardinal sin! Don’t mess with CT’s game!

How does one watch old seasons? I can’t find them. Amazon prime only goes back to like season 15
No Amazon prime goes to the duel. And then jumps ahead just few seasons. But there are good amount of seasons on there
The only correction I have is the inferno 1 it wasn’t bad asses it was real world vs road rules on the inferno 2 and 3 were called good guys and bad asses in inferno seasons

Yeah she was such a staple and strong player in the early seasons and it sucks that a lot of the newer viewers just saw her as a weak competitor. Not at all. Katie thought and swore Veronica put Katie’s name in for the gauntlet - which was why they argued that season, and it wasn’t... which was proven when Adam/Dave admitted they just wanted all the girls gone and have a stacked guys team at the end. Her game play started in The Inferno, where her performances were legit enough for her team to give her the reigns on “playing the game to win” which entailed getting rid of their weakest player: Katie.... which, she was. At the end of the day RR had a stacked women’s roster and it was folly to get rid of any of their girls (holly, Kendall, Veronica, christena were all performing wayyy better than Katie on average... miles above Katie).

Veronica I think is almost more impressive in this modern age then when she was winning. In the Ruins when she was all but going in she convinced Evan to vote with her and give her Kelly Anne tieing it up and Veronica went from going into the elimination against Kelly Anne to Ibis going in. The fact she was able to fully spare her neck from the swinging axe in that moment was a bit of luck and a lot of political manuverring. If Veronica was smart though she would've tried instead of cozying up to the top dude to create an alliance between the girls that were the weakest. Alas wasnt meant to be. Dirty 30 is her magnum opus of sublime game play. Brittany threw her tossed voted and Veronica voted in a way that insured she got someone voted in based purely on her game. If Veronica was more physical shed have won both seasons but the girls in those 2 ages, Emily, Ev, Laurel were physical beasts and the comps so much harder that Veronica could've done better.
