perfectly articulated! this totally resinated with me. I think we all try to find "planner peace" but I think that peace flows with our changes in our lifestyles. Look forward to more videos in the future!!
I’m working on setting up my 2025 system, so I’ve been watching a ton of TN videos and I absolutely love the idea of an unstructured week! Some days are busier than others and need more space. I am definitely going to try this.
Thank you for a love,y functional tn. I bought a weeks for 2024 and only filled in dec 2023 and realized it wasn’t for me. I’m disabled,ed and do t have much of a life any more. I have dr appts and crafts. I use 3 notebooks 1 calendar 1 food diary and 1 list write the day so I don’t forget. I love being back in a tn. Wish I was as neat as you.
I have a standard TN x September Leather that I originally bought to plan but didnt and now I want to give it a go again for something else. This is so timely, thank you!
wow you explained it so simply in regards to weekly planning , you are so right about it , you need to make it simplistic for you , suit your lifestyle
I love how you’ve been using your tn and I love the extra space it offers over a hobo weeks . I am jumping into a tn as well , but I have a very expensive hobo weeks cover I love and want to continue to use - planner girl problems . Thinking of changing the weeks for a different weeks layout - maybe this grid on both side will offer up more space and new layout options . TFS Jay ❤
This is really interesting to me. I always feel like I'm burning out from too much and too little structure and I like your spread layout and I might try this combination of weekly summary and daily to do in my work week diary
I really like the discussion you had in the beginning of your video. It is February and I am now looking for a different planner! Ugh! I hate the waste of money! But I am bored with how strictly functional it is and find myself not wanting to plan and not looking at it. Ive learned a lot from watching this video.
5:18 These are some of the things that affect how I plan as well. There's no need to necessarily plug things into the week, alot of it can sit on my weekly to do list. I was telling a planner community friend where I live that I'm realising since I dont have kids I miss out on the intricacies of planning, especially weekly planners😅Who is the notebook at the 17 min mark from?
Love your spread it is so simple and clean. It is very similar to how I tend to plan. Sort of bullet journal style. Very functional but you can add deco too. I’m not into tracking either. Only like home maintenance. I’ve been waiting for sterling ink to get her standard blank compact notebooks. I love that her books are all graph notebooks. I had ordered some from Plannermonkeyco before sterling ink announced her books. I find the graph lines just a little light. But I’m going to start using them soon. Enjoyed your video.
I totally feel that ebb and flow! I’m autistic and my special interests are my whole personality 😅 and those haven’t changed really since I graduated college in 2018. But my engagement with them kind of ebbs and flows throughout time. Right now I’m really into journaling and functionally planning and my tattoo journey, but less into anime watching and reading. But I can rely pretty heavily on the fact that it will ebb differently in at least a couple of years.
This was so insightful. Simply accepting the fact that our lives change, therefore our planners/journal set-ups/systems will change, and THAT’S OK! I think I’ve been so hesitant because what if I don’t like this set-up? What if it doesn’t work for me later? Am I doing all of this wrong? Idk, maybe I’m silly, but it’s an epiphany I JUST had while watching this. Thank you n blessings 🙏🏼
I am so glad that this video resonated with you and you had a epiphany. Our lives change and we should give ourselves the freedom to change our planners too
Thank you for sharing this! This video inspired me to buy a couple of those Standard size TN notebooks from Sterling Ink. The standard size TN is my planner peace size but I couldn’t find a layout I liked. I tried to use the Weeks - its so freaking cute but not really designed for the way my brain thinks … I have found that I must have my month, weeks for that month, and days of that week together. I also prefer to be able to decide how much room I need for each week and day. I do not like blank pages - it feels like wasted money 😂. With a TN and your layout - Voila!
Love this system! Honestly, the only reason I can't do this is my mental block against not being able to type-A assign everything to a day in advance. LOL
If you really love the weeks and would want to go back Sterling Ink has come out with a Standard Size Horizontal that is like the Hobo weeks just in the Standard Size she did a preorder but I think she said she would order more then needed that way anyone who didn't get the preorder can order it not sure when that will be available but I think that would be a good option for anyone who loves the Hobo weeks but its a little to small.
Ugh, I wish I could find other girlies in my area that are into Journaling 🥲 I love the space you've created though, it definitely fills that hole for me ❤

I love this! I think we all get swept away trying to find the perfect planner and the elusive “planner peace”! I think maybe you found it!

TFS! Really like how you made this work for your exact needs. I have included a standard TN in my 2024 system, hoping to be successful with it! ❤

It’s from sterling ink but it’s been out of stock for a very long time

I'm a court reporter and planner lover too 😊
I can't seem to find the journal you mentioned at 17:00 in the video. Do you mind possibly sending a link to purchase this?
