hey, very nice planner setup. I use on and off rings since 2016 I believe. At first this was really a love-hate-relationship with the rings. But I love them and never use others again. I found my plannerpeace. Current I am in Pocket rings since 2020. Before that I hat also A5 and personalrings. This was very overwhelming at the last time so I switched. love it.

I have had this bag in my cart for MONTHS! My only concern is the strength of the straps. I carry several books, planners, MacBook and various office supplies as well as basic feminine needs and electronics, water bottle, etc. Do you think it is capable of handling everything without a strap failing? 😊

I just happened to have a Superior Labor canvas and leather insert so I did pop it into my TN and then my Hobo Weeks with clear cover and it looks fabulous and feels great in the hand and I’d like to thank you for the idea!

I have always used some type of bound planner for memory keeping so I can look back and flip through it and personal rings for lists/notes, bills and referencing on the go. I’m actually downsizing to pocket rings instead of personal or trying to we shall see. But I have always used both. Love you videos ❤

Gday jay love yr new ring planner by the way , when i 1st got into planning bout 2 years ago i got hobonichi weeks and got a pocket ring planner from moterm , then i just went into book bound planners had a break from ring planners , i found i was missing using the ring planner so i got back into it this year, i bought another pocket ring planner to use as my wallet and just a few things and also i bought a personal luxe size from moterm to use as my main functional planner and i love it , i now print my own inserts as well which is fun , as for journaling/memory planning i use a TN system from travelers company with a few insert booklets cheers tania

Both! Rings is more my personal and medical, home life, pets, meds and trackers. Book bound for daily tasks out and about and work!

I've been looking for some and can't seem to find any that size -- perfect for the weeks! It looks like it's clear but has a bit of a subtle pattern to it. Thanks.

The mistake planner cover has a lot of scratches on it. I feel like this was a customer repair that they did and now they're returning it to someone? Maybe? Very frustrating, hope you got a fast refund.

These Yuruliku pen cases have been out of stock for ever but I managed to grab one today on the Yuruliku website and I am so excited! And I have been debating on which Sailor to get as my first Sailor and I love the color of the Line Friends.

Your sticker collection looks lovely.! I love the Energel (OG) and especially the Clena 04. I have a 03 Energel (regular body) and find it really scratchy. It’s the only one I have in that size. Do you find that the Clena 03 refill writes smoothly? The 04 is like buttah, it is so wonderful! I ordered an A6 2025 Vertical from Sterling Ink, and I’m thinking about also an A5 or B6 (they may not have regular B6) but not sure if I really need both…I like that it’s easy to carry around the A6 in my regular purse so it’s very on the go (although I’ve never had that size for a planner, it will be interesting. I think I’ll see how it goes and if I need the A5. I have the Cousin for 2024, and this is my first time in it. There are a lot of things I like, but the things I don’t like about it are ‘fixed’ in the Sterling Ink, so that’s cool. But, I find myself just really not using it, and I feel like I’m just wasting all of the size because I don’t really journal in there…then I don’t want to journal cause I haven’t filled out my Cousin…it’s a vicious cycle that I need to stop!!! It’s just giving me stress ticking off days on it’s daily dated pages (I got the one with the blank grid pages after all of the dated yearly/monthly/weekly stuff which I think will work much better for me, and I learned this year that I really need to size down for an EDC because I need that. I’m sick of the back of receipts and random post-it notes getting lost after I needed to jot something down 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m working on setting up my 2025 system, so I’ve been watching a ton of TN videos and I absolutely love the idea of an unstructured week! Some days are busier than others and need more space. I am definitely going to try this.

I got a Sterling Ink academic planner like you but now I'm like wait do I need the Hobo? Why can't I make up. my mind hahaha

Still going strong with my Sweet Freckled Designs weeks size. I switched from a digital, pdf planner after 3 years, to get away from screens.

I’m currently using my A5 W222 for my main everything planner and my Franklin Daily Organizer for work. Both are working fine though I’m using my planners for 2025 and I’m so excited because it’s going to be an even better fit. I didn’t change my planner mid year. I rarely do - unless my planner is completely not working and can’t be made functional with some tweaks I stick with my planners and finish them out.

thank you for sharing! it’s rough when your planning isn’t going how you want it but its cool you’ve been able to recognize that summers are slower for planning for you. i’m on year 3 (or 4?) with a hobonichi weeks and i’m still loving it. i contemplated trying rings for planning for a few weeks but have decided to just use rings for my trackers.

In January of this year I started with a Laurel Denise regular size horizontal. Loveddd it but realized mid semester…it’s just too darn big. And yes she sells a mini but the boxes are too darn small. So in June I started my Aura Estelle x Annie Plans B6 daily horizontal. Then ofcourse EVERYBODY has a Hobonichi weeks and I realized I wanted a place to be OPEN and journal so I now have another AE x AP in the weeks size where I write down my thoughts. I’ve preordered both the B6 and weeks from her for 2025 and despite alllllllll the “distractions” I’m sticking with what I have. Just Scribble and Sterling Ink and Papertess and Wonderland 222 have caught my eye…but I’m just enjoying their videos :-)

I totally feel that ebb and flow! I’m autistic and my special interests are my whole personality 😅 and those haven’t changed really since I graduated college in 2018. But my engagement with them kind of ebbs and flows throughout time. Right now I’m really into journaling and functionally planning and my tattoo journey, but less into anime watching and reading. But I can rely pretty heavily on the fact that it will ebb differently in at least a couple of years.

Your planner journey is similar to mine! However, I am back into rings because I bought a Franklin Covey archive binder after seeing Lindsey Scribbles and Megan Rhiannon use it for archiving. Have you thought about buying one of those binders (or any cheap binders will do) to archive your old inserts?

I am coming from using a Bujo and am thinking of using both together next year….but your great comprehensive video makes me think I may be able to just use the Weeks.
