Welcome to a cleaner, greener Oxford

In January 2024, Oxford launched what will be one of the biggest UK fleet of electric buses outside London.
The £82.5M project will deliver 159 new battery buses onto the streets of Oxford - a few of which have already gone into service. It has also funded two associated electric charging hubs at the city’s bus depots.

I am very happy with the role out of these new buses but I have one question, will these buses ever come to the more out of city routes such as the X1/2/3 from Oxford Bus Co and the S routes on stagecoach like the S1/2/3.
