With Michael Bay’s 6 Underground now streaming on Netflix, I recently sat down with Ryan Reynolds, Corey Hawkins, and Mélanie Laurent to talk about making the massive action movie. During the extremely fun interview that was done in Brazil, the three stars revealed what it’s really like working with Michael Bay, what surprised them about his process, why filming the opening car chase was an experience they’ll never forget, and why they don’t think Florence will invite them back.
If you haven’t seen the trailers, 6 Underground was written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool), and follows a gang of operatives who fake their deaths so they can use their anonymity to take out bad guys around the world. The film stars Adria Arjona, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Ben Hardy, Lior Raz, Payman Maadi, and Dave Franco.

This film has a really cool concept, and i really enjoyed it. Unfortunately netflix wont be making a sequel which is a shame because this concept is really good and theres a lotta possibilities with this franchise, action wise
Concept? Franchise? It's a prolonged trailer & mashup of any action film ever made thought up by a few stoners playing GTA a little too long. I'm positive the lines would've been better if they'd have the actors adlib the whole thing.

Did it really cost that much
I love his movies but he is definitely an ass. However he does it so his crew has one thing they can be united with instead of fighting among each other and that's getting pissed at him lol. There is a reason why his crew keeps coming back to work for him. Otherwise if he pissed somebody off they wouldn't come back to work with him ever again.
Plot was all over the place. Random character backgrounds without covering all of them. Should’ve been in the beginning explaining how the team came to be. The parkour/thief guy had literally zero purpose. Just like Triple Frontier, had potential but lost in trying to do too much.
I disagree 😎 this,like triple frontier, which is better character development where this film,6 Underground is better character interaction, both share the same cheesy, over the top,popcorn action like films of the late 90s(con air/armageddon for example) its tone is its drive and not to be analyze but more of a "just sit back and enjoy the ride!" Films based on actual events, that are large scale,Blackhawk down or pearl harbor gives the audience an expectation of flushed out but this isn't one of those films😎I did not expect Saving Private Ryan,going into this $150 million budget comic book feel Netflix original,which is,what I've seen from bay,my 1 favorite 😎
