@@ilustraca there are 3 loads acting i.e horizontal on wall, vertical on c/s area and friction wall load...so how to assign vertical amd frictional loads?
Hi, thank you so much for the video, I have a doubt about the calculation of the load imposed by the coal, so when we have solid material like coal stored in a silo, that means this coal imposes horizontal pressure and frictional traction on the vertical walls of the cylinder, and these loads should be calculated in accordance with Janssen's or Airy's Theories. whereas you simply calculated the pressure imposed by the coal as if it is liquid!!!!
Hi my friend i m master student of civil engineer in iran... you taught this model very well and easy👌 but i have a project for my class ...i want to model siesmic design of silo (5000 tonnes) can you teach me how can i model it?? Can you send me a cod about this topic?? Please help me . Thanks

Very informative video. Keep the good work man
Very Informative... Thanks....
2 GREAT AND UNDERSTANABLE VIIDEO , THANKS FOR THEM BUT IS THERE ANY PART3 IN YOUR TH-cam ? CUASE I CANT FIND IT.
Sir, while assigning vertical load i.e Pv do we have to add area loads
couldn't get you ..
How to assign vertical loads at c/s of silo
on the inclined area?

I have explained the part of assigning vertical load and u don't have to assign any frictional load here..
Hi sir, how could you assign the wind load for the silo?
Is it According to ACI code ?
When the design video will come???
sir , part-3 onwards when did the videos available ?
it will come soon
waiting for part 3
There seems to be some problemo with telegram channel link!!!
let me send you again
