    Wes Barker is a Canadian magician and comedian doing funny tricks, and telling great stories. You may know me from my TV show Big Trick Energy (truTV, HBOmax, Netflix). Watch here for hilarious, ridiculous, and unfiltered ideas with magic, stunts, and pranks. Either I'm the funniest magician who is also a stand-up comic, or maybe I'm the comic who is the best at magic? Either way you get the idea. I tour all over doing colleges, comedy clubs, and corporate events. Catch the adventures and tricks right here. With this magician / comedian from Vancouver, based out of Toronto, Canada. I make funny stuff. That’s my only rule. Everything has to be funny, from street magic to stage illusions, as long as there is a joke to be made. I do magic tricks, sketches, stand-up comedy, card tricks, mind reading, and tricks with naked people. I’ve been on America’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, MTV Greatest Party Stories Ever, and Wizard Wars. You can find me pulling pranks on friends, gags on strangers, or just general sleight of hand, magic, illusions, and the occasional bar bet. Wes Barker also hosts a podcast with Chris Ramsay called Bottom Of The Barrel. Go check it out!

    Before he guessed each one, I figured which was which. I know that sounds false, but each one matched the personality.

    I'm not even done with the video, but I'm dying with the banter. 😂 Yours, the last you saw, your fantasy one... 🤣

    Amusing act but simple to replicate if you put a tactile mark on each board.

    So many ways to do it without reading body language. I'm not sure if he didn't use one of this ways

    Well, I'm impressed.
    ...a minute passes...
    The canvases were marked, 1,2,3,4,5 to match the order in which the people were standing.
    Doesn't matter, it was still funny and entertaining. Hat's off to you, Wes.

      That would be a really dumb magic trick and I don't think Wes would use such a weak trick and claim mentalism. More likely the "duck pic" suggestion was planted. He had a lot of good banter for it, seems prepared. Also, such a topic would be extremely likely to force some reaction out of the volunteers with. A magician with any amount of training in reading body language would likely succeed at this trick with that setup even without cheating.

      @@ebreshea1337 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 could be numbered without visible numbers, and the markers could also be slightly different colors or different compositions. After all, even the density of the boards could vary. If he wanted us not to suspect this, he should have let everyone take the boards and markers, and not give them to the participants

      @@vovanbalashov distinguishing barely perceptible differences in color or weight would be even harder than the normal way lol. Could he have taken a few extra seconds to prove to you that this didn't happen? Sure... but then I'm sure you could make up another way for him to "cheat".

    • @vovanbalashov
      @vovanbalashov 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ebreshea1337 This is not so much "cheating" as ordinary "magic tricks". I've seen such tricks, I've done them. And I'm very used to the fact that a magician does a completely different trick than he talks about. So when I see a trick, I think about the simplest way to do it, and most likely this is the way

      @ebreshea1337 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@vovanbalashov So every card trick you've ever seen or performed was using marked cards I guess. That's the simplest way, right? And that's literally what you're insisting is the case here.
