Hello Basant sir, I have cleared civil services mains exam. Aapki video dekhte time dar lagta tha jb aap bolte the padne ka time h padh lo, stock market ke lie bhot time h. But still din me 12-14 hrs padh ke aapki video dekh hi leta tha. Ab guilt ni hogi, or interview me bhi ye knowledge kaam aaegi.
Sir maine last week approx 9 lac BM focused smallcase mein invest kare hai. Mujhe lagta hai main invest karne mein late ho gaya. Main aur lumpsum 10 lac aur each month 1 lac invest karna chahta hun for atleast next 5 years. Mujhe pata hai aap dukaandari nahi karte, fir bhi recommend kare ki paisa smallcap mein hi dalta rahun, ya vision 2030 mein daalun ya PMS lena chahiye. Jyada paise nahi hai sir, emergency fund chod kar sab invest karna chahta hun. Desh se bahar rehta hun. India wapis aana hai apne parents k paas isliye plan kar rha hun.

Question: How listing price is determined on NSE & BSE. E.g. TATA TECH issue price was 500 and listing price was 1200. How that 1200 number is determined/arrived?
*Is it only based on demand and supply of the stock in primary market before it got listed in NSE & BSE (just like the way price fluctuate in regular trading day on exchanges) OR are there other parameters and variables to determine/arrive listing price of stock on exchanges?*
