Turning out awesome. Can't wait to see the finished product. Nice having all the right tools for the job. I'm still collecting tools. Using my YT earnings to acquire tools and the skills to use them.
This old truck is getting better little by little. Don’t forget it took 50 years of wear and tear to get into this shape so yall are really putting in the work to turn it around it is paying off
Fyi though. That upol primer is DTM and doesnt need etching unless its bare aluminum. It doesnt says its direct to metal but in the data sheet it says no etch needed and will stick to bare metal not aluminum
What a good job. Did you sprayed the paint and clear coats in outdoors? I'm very interested to know as I'm going to do mine after the new year due to cold weather so need to wait until it get warmer.
😂 i had to remove rustoleum implement green paint of my truck. Luckily a friend had time and blasted the rest for me. Have you ever used that upol primer as a sealer?
My hands / wrist ache just watching doing all that hand sanding, for all the sanding done and all the sanding yet to do after its painted.... Salute!
The bondo work is not the most favorite thing but is a necessary evil! Thanks for the support it keeps us motivated!

It is a long road we just have to stay focused and get this truck back to the way it’s suppose to look!
Good job guys! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Thanks!
I really like your videos with this 69. Y’all are doing a really good job.
Thank you that means a lot!
Love that primer can be mixed as sealer as well 4:1:2 for sealer and can be tinted with you’re base coat
It seems to be pretty good stuff sands easy and won’t break the bank

Think we got to see the next Tacoma build in this video!
That is a distinct possibility, we love the taco stuff!
Are you going to paint it outside.?maybe you should wait till the wind picks up To help with drying time .

We sprayed the paint and clear coat in a booth. Thanks for watching
@@OrangeWiresGarage Oh thanks for letting me to know. I don't have a garage so do I need to build a spray booth to put my car in and spray it?
@@chris01479 we have sprayed outside before you will get mixed results but it is possible

We did use it as sealer and you can tint it with urethane base coat. You mix it 4:1:2 for sealer. The paint stripping is not fun! Thanks for watching!
