Yes, Fresno is one of the most horrible city for bad drivers. I got t-boned in 1999, traveling on Shaw, by an old lady driving a van. I had the light, didn't. As came to the intersection, my 'spider senses" started tingling, but it was too late. I think must have spinned 10 times before coming to a stop. I was good, she broke both legs and something else. Clearly, she was not paying attention.

Companies are probably not getting rich off of some of their models. Sending out parts for fixing warranty issues.. Shipping stuff out like batteries and new controllers probably dozens a month. This C3 model might have had some extra factory design and parts involved that they just wanted to put on it and it jacked up the price. They probably need to get $309-$400 off each of these to even stay into its production and turn profits 👍

Look at the new happyrun G100 that just got released! Up to 50mph unrestricted mode for preorder for $1800 or get a wired bike that's 60v 2000 watts peak and 40mph for 2k....

I would take a look at the rumble motors Apex predator
The 750 watt limit is so stupid every other vehicle on the road your can have unlimited power as long you drive the speed limit
That’s why the laws need to be changed. Ride your 5000w bike and if you don’t follow the speed limit and get caught. Don’t act surprised. I feel the same way you got 1000hp cars driving around but can only go max 75mph on the freeway.
Love the content been a fan for a good while the bike seems super cool and prob one of the best it got looks and comfort along with enough speed to have fun but not too much to get you in trouble youtube is deleting my comment when I tag my you know what

Solid video, could not agree more MrCD. As a CTY2 owner it was nice to see C3Strom come out with an e-bike with rear suspension but at $3,100... So many good options for e-bikes for around that price point. Can argue many different factors for e-bikes (battery/dual battery, full suspension/hard-tail, dual motors/rear motor ,moped/non-moped style ,pedals/pegs/weight) With the e-bikes you mentioned. The Revv1(52v) is a great and competitive choice at $2.4k full suspension. Talaria XXX (60v) is a couple hundred dollars shy of the Deluxe at $3.3k. Lyric Graffiti (52v) $2.9k has dual batteries but no rear suspension is a bummer. Ariel Rider Grizzly (52v) dual battery and motor at $3.2k is an option but feels cheap. Other e-bikes i would consider too. Wired Freedom 60v comes in at $2k but its not a moped style e-bike plus the demand has you wait a few months for it. Zooz UF1200 (52v) BMX style e-bike with full suspension $3.3k. Voromotors Roadrunner Pro (60v) more of a e-scooter but at $2.6k you can go 50mph. Lyric Graffiti X (60v) not out yet but something to look out for in the future. 60v would have sweeten the deal for the Deluxe or a bigger battery. Regardless with all this info it is nice to see more e-bikes to come out and see how they perform and cost. Funny suggestion MrCD would you do a review on the new Honda Motocompacto? If not maybe briefly talk about it in a future video lol

That’s what I’m saying. Adding rear suspension is great but make the battery 60v or more ah like 25ah at least.
when you are going down that path at 9:15, it looks like the wheel is out of true or unbalanced? Maybe something to do with the tire? It could be bumpy pavement, but that path looks pretty smooth? I've heard some people say those bafang mag wheels are sometimes out of true, but the manufacturers will say it's "within tolerances' and don't want to warranty the wheels over a slight wobble. Curious about that , it could be just the tire mounted slightly off. Cool bike though man, thanks for the vid! I always enjoy a good dose of Fresno absurdity hahah. Holes in the road, cars in the middle of the intersection, good stuff.
I guess if you are going to invest in just one bike for the next 5 or 6 years then you will be happier on the more premium one. We have a couple more months to wait and see what to decide on before ordering something for next seasons riding. Maybe some sale will come up by January. Good job showing this one off.👍
Makes me want to sell my Super 73 and Lectric xp 3.0 and get this bad boy. It basically has every upgrade you would add to a lesser bike. Offraod mode functions the same as a 73,so annoying 😂

Everything was pointing to the lecteic 3.0 , which is what led me to your channel. Just wanted to say good content you're creating hear , like the overview then day / night test ride , throttle/ pedal/ brake test , i think you got a working formula here ! Your taking over £3.057 that's a log of money to go 39mph my kit was £898 44moh I no wivh bike I wous gave do a speed test from zero to 30mph mine is on 3 seconds what does that bike do ice got 2000wat 45amp controller 52v 20amp battery it's on a nice frame all the lights better than your lights. If someone hasn't had a ebike before and got the money there going to buy that bike and I bet it's got problems. It looks impressive can you peddle it to me I bet your knees come up to handle bars that's really bad for knees when you get older it's a nice shape shoud be much cheaper company are cashing in that's my view
Try a wired freedom 60 volt battery bmx handle bars 1500 watt motor that peaks over 2300 and a 40 amp controller dual suspension I got one for $2200 after shipping

I got me a aniioki A8 pro and I love it. Does 35 to 37mph and battery life is awesome. For 2 grand I found my choice. But that c3 is a bad ass bike tho.

Just ordered me a set of those tires. They look good and better than my knobby ones. Especially for the price for a pair at 88 dollars.

The street where you turned right those lines are put there for a reason you just have to interact with cars by watching out for them because they will run you over they don't care about motorcycles and they sure don't care about bicyclist with electric motors

When you think about it writing one of those instead of driving in a car would save you thousands upon thousands of dollars every year but that is providing that your job is fairly close to where you live many years ago I knew a guy that drove his motorcycle from Englewood where the job was to his house way out in the high desert somewhere and he did that for years and I asked him why and he says it's a much better living and I finally moved out to Apple valley in the high desert I can get on my quad and drive almost to Big Bear lake boy that's a lot of fun
Yeah you just gotta fork up the money up front. A lot of people look at it as why spend 3k on a bike. It’s gonna take me years to see any type of benefit to make my money back and that’s not really the way to think. If u had the cash get it. Then u save from there on out and your having fun with a new toy and now your saving more money each week for other stuff.

not gonna be as easy as the super73 or revv1 due to you need room for the aftermarket controller and a 60 or 72v battery. doing the motor in the rear shouldnt be hard but you gotta think how big of a battery can you fit and where. and how you mounting the bigger controller

You gotta look at the ip rating of your bike. Most bikes have waterproof connectors. And that will tell you more info.

Is this bike better then revv1? The revv1 appeals to me bc of suspension and ability to add a second battery easily. But which one has better components? There's that Goat power bike that's supposed to go 40+ as well. I dunno. I want something that's fun and a legitimate commuter and trail bike.
c3 strom feels more premium. if i had to give it a rating revv1 "8" and c3strom a "9". comfortable the c3strom is hands down better. revv1 can add a second battery which is a pro. the c3 strom can but not in a great way and you need to get the basket to hold that battery. revv1 you dont. revv1 price is better. c3strom is more expensive.
Ones a class 3 the others a class 2.

Tbh, Idk if the wind was in my favour and the landscape here is as flat as piss on a plate …lol , with that said , I never achieved a similar speed again , loosing it to theft soon thereafter …looking forward to the FS upgrade, on my next purchase

What I'm trying to figure out is are these bikes awesome toys or a legitimate second piece of transportation to your car? I live 10 miles out of town. Would this be useful and not just fun? Or would a motorcycle or scooter be even better?
i couldn't help you with that decision. bikes have always been fun for me even if just a pedal bmx bike. it says something when people come from super fast cars and ride one of these. its just a different fun feeling. great for getting around
GO for it... you'll have a bike and a slower motorcycle when you want to do different things for sure.

If you ride a bike you’ll understand. You wait for traffic to drive next to you it’s more dangerous. Also nobody will safely let you in to make a left unless u take up the whole lane and slow down traffic. You’ll understand when you’re out riding. Get away from traffic and cars at all costs safely.

It says 99% because there’s probably a dead cell in the battery bank. 🪫p.s.: I think you can make any eBike go that fast by disconnecting the speed limit wire from controller box. 😊
I love this bike and with the new suspension it looks like it rides like a caddy. The downside of the bike is the battery spot you can’t go bigger. @Jdorf24
