It only weighs 0.03 dwt. But I knew I was getting closer to figuring it out. Im very persistent. Everything I've tried to complete up till today has been a wasted. I was making the elements disappear.
Neutralize the nitric acid for the first final step. Try A-B prospecting out of masa Arizona. Talk with Ryan he sells acid that turns it purple, so you can do final step. There's 4 methods. I'm learning also. Hope it helps. GREAT support and supplies!

@alexwelts2553 You need regular nitric acid to break down the gold. It also depends on which kind of gold you are breaking down as there's different methods. If it was me, stick to the basics first. Use hydrochloric acid to mix giving aqua regia solution. Filtering the trash. There's formula solution amounts you can use for this. The basic is not to use too much nitric acid. During final stages, boiling to a final syrup, hydrating with hydrochloric acid 3 times to remove the nitric acid. 3rd time, then use smb and settle,filter, and them dry the gold in the pan, air dry. Should look like rust color and powder, then melt in a melting pot. If you're doing electronics, the process is different. Watch some videos to help guide you. I hope it helps!
Awesome video. I was following your procedure and at the end of the first rinses with hot water the top portion was very clear and the gold precipitate concentrated on the bottom same as yours. I then added the small amount of water with also Hydrochloric acid but instead of the entire solution staying brown the precipitate was gone it went into solution and entire solution turned clear yellow. It looks like the gold went back into solution. Any comments do I add nitric acid and heat up to precipitate the gold back? Thank you
Be sure to remove completely the oxidizer by boiling with water at least 10 minutes repeat 3 to 4 times, nitric is taking longger to remove, then about the precipitation by adding smb, be sure also that the solution turn into black, if not, the gold are not totally turn back into metallic state..

Yeah, but try to add few ml of hcl first to increase acidity, some cases redropping gold out of solution have problem incountered, sometimes urea can contaminate our solution, look sreetips he never neutralize aqua solution because he use nitric accurately.
@@PoorMiners321 Thank you for your comment. I did used the Urea and instead of SMB I used Electrolysis but it took a little over 1.5 hours but got back the dark precipitate will continue tomorrow with the 5 hot water rinses. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Bro yung tingga na sinasabi mo hindi yan pwedi gawing stannous test kasi lead man yun, yung ginagamit sa stannous test ay pure tin metal. Ibabad mon lang yung tin sa muriatic hanggang matunaw lahat ratio nito ay 15grams of pure tin, 50ml muriatic.

Thank you❤ if I use high concentration of nitric acid, specially gold nuggets re-purification I use urea to neutralize nitric, or I use also Diesel exhaust fluid which very effective to neutralize nitric acid, but if I do gold recovery from electronic waste, I use low concentration of nitric 60 percent below.
Urea does not deNOX. Use sulfamic acid crystals which not only will de NO(x) but will also cause any lead that may be in solution to precipitate so it can be filtered off before you drop gold. Also urea can potentially create dangerous compound when used with nitric acid

@@PoorMiners321 :) you can also build yourself a pretty nice setup with scrubbers to recover the solder metal fumes I believe, but I would have to test this first myself to be certain. Obviously that is if the incineration temperature exceeds that of boiling point of these metals. Cheers there.

Hcl can dissolve many metal oxide and more metal and excess chemical that HNO3 can't do, some oxide HNO3 can't dissolve only solid metal..

Please do get yourself a stainless steel box if you really anticipate on incinerating stuff. Pyrolysis is the way to go.
