    Takes guts to publish a private interview with a scholar who’s been doing this sort of thing for decades. Got a lot out of this, thanks for it!

    Amazing. In the 4 months I've seen your channel grow, you've acquired a sizeable and loyal following, vitriolic haters with juvenile critiques, and the respect/admiration of one of your ideological heroes. You're making waves :)

    Wow! So cool! You guys made my day. So nice to hear such conversation, about such vital topics, loved the feeling of genuine respect that you guys gave off. Made me feel part of society after all. To the subject of vision, and "the binding" problem, I would throw in the ideas of Wolfgang Smith, in particular his latest book "The Vertical Ascent", in which he expounds on Plato's Tripartite Cosmos model and how it helps to resolve it. (binding problem). He mentions first James Gibson, a cognitive psychologist who basically spent his life on this subject, realizing then proving that what you see is where you see it, not in your head. Wolfgang then shows how the lower corporeal world of space and time is non-locally perceived by the mind/soul/anima level of a person, this level operates in time but not space. Thus, because outside of space, is able to see what is being looked at "in place". This ties wonderfully with Leibniz and his monads, which I think of as a holographic kind of principle of all conscious beings. Our minds resolve the binding problem, which is only a problem for Science because it has thrown out mind. (Cartesian duality). Ditto the Measurement Problem: in QM: Wolfgang shows again how to resolve it by elimination of "The Bifurcation" as Whitehead called it. We truly are coming to the point where Science needs to once again take up a metaphysics. Love the "Noetic Aether" video from Formscapes.

    Post-watch analysis: what a great conversation! Sheldrake credits you with coining a phrase - morphogenetic space - and hands you a huge compliment. Maybe one day you two will share a stage, or, dare I say, authorship on a book or paper 😮
    This was a nice surprise, how did you manage to keep it a secret? Or did I miss something? Anyway this was very cool!

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Actually I borrowed the term "Morphological space" from Michael Levin (Which is his term for what are called "phase spaces" in dynamic systems theory).
      Anyway this wasn't an intentional surprise. It was just kind of spontaneous lol. Hopefully we will be able to collaborate further in the future.

    A lot of Science channels like PBS Space time have brought up the possibility of the laws of nature not being constant, and there almost seems to be (I don't know if this is the right word for it) "fear" about the possibility as such a thing might invalidate their foundations and all their work would have been for naught.

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "fear" is absolutely the correct word

  • @Erlbleich
    @Erlbleich 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    An excellent exchange of valuable perspectives, between brilliant highlights of human intellect. Whereby some questions IMHO allow for simpler explanations than Rupert suspects. Once you step back from the particle idea and understand that EVERYTHING is a field, there are fewer problems with "spooky action at a distance". As the first Hermetic Principle states, EVERYTHING is mental, i.e. everything is energy, namely electromagnetic energy (light), and energy acts in fields and as waves. Waves are subject to the order of resonance and harmony, and they convey the information that we regard as reality via (divine) geometric forms. The so-called gravitation is only a "state" of the field, which can change in 0-time in 'hyperfrequent' space (ether, quantum vacuum, 0-point field).
    More gladly verbal and don't ever forget:
    "The handwriting of God is perfection,
    infinity and eternity, the covers of It's book,
    and paradox is the core of It's story". -- by msw.

He also had an eye on the time, experienced with taking full advantage of the timeslot’s he has available, Dr. Sheldrake made sure to deliver until the very end, and yet gave the floor with perfect timing to make the video just under an hour.

My name is Keillan and I've never heard of anyone else with the same name besides some people in Ireland but with a way different spelling, this is the closest similarity to my own name I've ever come across and ofc it's with someone who aligns in views, passions and interests so closely with my own 😳🔥🧘🤝
