The secret service sniper did not shoot after the first shot was taken. Crooks was allowed to get 8 shots off before the sniper fired one round.
There is quite a bit of debate over this as well.. The first count from responding officers only counted 5 rounds next to him. Also in recordings, the first three rounds sound distinctly different.

Just so you know Eli is also on the Unsubscribe Podcast, he revived a Purple Heart, in his own words “for not being good at his job.” and Adam from Ballistic High Speed was blown up by an RPG-7 that they were filming in slow motion. Did you see him play with Bryson DeChambeau?! The video dropped this week on YT. It's literally just Trump and Bryson playing 18 holes trying to break 50. Honestly really great to watch, Trump is better at golf than I realized!
@@The1SSGrant Not a big sports fan or golf, but I do remember Trump actually played himself in some PGA tour rounds. The PGA is all pros and not for avg. players. I think I remember one of them also included my Governor on his courses at the Greenbrier. I am a history buff and Dad used to play some golf (not good normally 2-3 below par per hole) Normally with coworkers before retirement. Early on he did the same with bowling. I did bowl at times and normally did well on the 2nd or 3 game. First was finding the sweet spot and 4th became unsteady as I tired. I typically had one 240-260 game in the bunch. The ally I played at is gone and when they tore it down the installed a monument to the business that started there prior by the Schoenbaum family with one of the famous Bigboy's from the Shoney's chain.

@@The1SSGrant To break 50 on an 18 that is between 2.5 an 3 strokes per hole and well bellow Par. Trump and My governor do have one advantage over some pros at golf helping them to rank. Because they both are PGA course owners, they can practice on the course anytime and learn tricks that you would only expect from 20year pga tour vets. (one I picked up from watching pros go for the masters is hitting the roof on the last hole, everyone who did it landed on the green and saved a stroke.
Just FYI for people who have never been to "normal" America, meaning not the big cities that you see on TV. The nicest and most polite people that you will meet will be outside the cities and will probably be gun owners. It is not a big deal here like it is in most of the world. I have owned guns since I was a kid and it is just a normal thing to well more than half of Americans.
The military doesn't use AR-15s they use M-16s or M-4s for the most part
The only difference is the hammer, trigger, disconnector, selector switch and bolt carrier. The M16 M4 has the auto sear and its pin added that a civilian AR doesnt have. Other than that they are exactly the same.

shot capacity, lack of actions required between shots, rifle caliber (penetrates low level body armour and cover)… these factors combine to make assault rifles (and it is an assault rifle I don’t care that it’s not fully automatic, it’s still capable of the same damage)

Yes, Trump did play golf the next morning. It's a happy place for him on the green, and very calming for him. He is an incredibly good golfer and recently played with Bryson DeChambeau on his YT page! Everyone here should watch it - so nice just seeing Trump just play a round of golf and be a regular guy for a while! It's an hour, so watch on your own if you'd like or find clips, but I definitely recommend it.

The UK has it figured out. Totally makes sense that the easiest gun to obtain is the one that does the most gruesome damage and requires the least skill to use.

If you like Brandon, perhaps you should check out his video on his custom AK 50. It is scaled version of an AK 47 but it is 50 caliber BMG ammo. I think it was an 7 or 8 year research, development and testing, it is the very first firearm he designed and built from the ground up.
Brandon Herrera did run for congress and lost by only 44X something votes.

Golf course story & quote you mentioned is TRUE! (Golf course is next to his house.) U.S. Representative Pat Fallon recreated event without having any particular training for that distance. They set up roof, target & other conditions, & he took 16 tries at target & got 15 out of 16. One missed would have hit ear. Trump survived is because he turned his head sideways to look at screen. After secret service got him off ground, Trump pump his fist at crowd yelling, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Iconic photo.
He's also the guy that told the secret service director to "go back to guarding doritos" after he made that presentation during the hearing this week

Just thought it was so cool that you are such an avid fan of Matt that you not only recognized the berm and range that he built, but even called it the Desperado Shooting Range. The Carrikers are Awesome people and it's so nice to see that none of his viewers are falling for that BS the media was trying to push about him when they basically just said he was a gun nut that shoots machine guns and blows stuff up on his TH-cam channel.
I also STRONGLY encourage you to start watching Fat Electrician's channel. He is an AWESOME speaker...keeps the audience super engaged and entertained...and also teaches us a LOT about the history of the United States and her proud and mighty military.

I broke my ring finger breaking up a fight. I never really felt it until afterwards. I looked down and the top of my finger was facing at 2PM on a clock. I grabbed my finger and straightened it out myself and tapped it up. Never went to the hospital either. It looks and works fine to this very day.
When I was a younger fellow I hunted whitetail deer with a 300 Weatherby mag. I sold it because it was overkill. Great for Moose and Elk though.

Lots of arm chair "ballistics experts" coming out of woodwork lately. Think of how many people thought it was a BB gun at first because they didn't think about the fact that the microphones picking up the shot were 150 yards from the point of origin. Not to mention that microphones are terrible at reflecting the volume of gun fire. You'll notice that watching any shooting video on TH-cam. Also people thinking the bullet would dump its kinetic energy just by nicking a human ear.
And when presented with the science, so many people just swapped to saying it was all fake/staged. Some people you just can't reason with. I hope the number of those people don't number in the millions but I worry they do.

My state of Washington banned AR-15 sales so I bought two just one week before the ban. Surprised at the small caliber though. I filled out documents and the feds approved it before I got home. I turned around and picked them up right away. From purchase to getting them home took about two hours.

I've been to the Gun Store in Vegas, as an American I mostly shot full auto. Anything else I, or my friends, own. Might even know some folks in the intervening years who have full auto. Regardless, it's America and let's fucking go.

As the oddly large amount of other comments mentioned the US military doesn't technically use AR 15s but without nerding out on the details it's basically the same thing as a M4 and M16 and they all basically use the same ammo (the civilian AR mainly just has some different internals so its semi only not full auto or burst) so while its technically not correct to call them the same its fine by me because they're pretty much the same just that the civilian version got nerfed and they're being phased out anyway to make way for the 6.8x51mm M5 which is totally different in literally every way. Also I'm surprised no one mentioned the HK416 that the Marines (or at least Recon, Force Recon, etc Marine units) use since its far more different than the AR vs M4 comparison but is called an M4 by some which is totally inaccurate
