YYZ is the airport destination for the Toronto airport. The beginning of the song is morse code for the letters YYZ or YYZed in every other country, but the USA. As they were coming in to land they heard the morse code coming from the cockpit, so they decided to make a song about it. From what I've been told Brazilian fans are very passionate. I mean I don't think I've ever heard a crowd sing along to an instrumental before. Pretty cool.

Love the reaction!! It's well known, that Rush performs live, almost exactly like the studio version!! Three geniuses, that were amazing together. I always urge new listeners to hear the studio version, first...then the live. With Rush, you can't go wrong with either. Exit Stage Left, is another great live set, you should check out....trust me. Also...you need to listen to Vital Signs. It's got amazing lyrics and music...it's a must, see what you think.

The curse words are a common reaction of people recognizing how f***ing good Rush actually was. The composition here was meant to represent the hustle and bustle of moving through a busy airport, and the slower part where Geddy is playing the keyboards was meant to represent a brief pause to reunite with family and friends before going right back to the hustle and bustle.
