I have lived in Victoria for almost 27 years and have visited these gardens numerous times throughout the seasons. I remain amazed by the stunning beauty and calm. The Christmas display is truly magical!
I just can't overstate how gorgeous the gardens are at night in the winter! Everything is lit so spectacularly! But there's just never a bad time to go!
I've been through this glorious garden about 4 or 5 times in the last 20 years. It is magnificent no matter what time of year you visit. Always something new; always beautiful. Thanks for sharing this. It brought back some very wonderful memories!

I visited the Butchart once about 30 years or so ago. It was in April.The night before my visit it snowed. So I got to see tulip coming out of the white snow. What a rare sight, I thought, as I have not once seen pictures of tulip blooms against the white snow. Not until today.
I went there as a kid....8 years old.....seems like just yesterday, and I am turning 62 years old this coming Saturday. How time flies..... I am SO GLAD I got to see these beautiful and breathtaking gardens LONG BEFORE COVID. Wearing masks? Gee whiz.....how can you smell the lovely flowers??? I am truly blessed to have gone there. LOVED LOVED LOVED that place. British Columbia is gorgeous!!! 👍😍👀
Was born in Victoria. I remember alot. My Dad was military. I remember the gardens and how much I liked them.. I was five when we got posted. One day I will make it home again.

Geeh, it sure didn’t look like that when I was there. It was wall to wall people in mid June. You were elbowed through the trails like cattle by bus loads of tourists. There was a band practicing rock music, not actually playing a full song... which to me was not indicative of a garden experience. After the amount we paid and the amount of years I’d waited to get to see the garden I was thoroughly disappointed. SO...Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. THIS would’ve been the experience I’d loved to have had.
I went here when I was 10 years old with my Parents and Sister that have since passed away...I remember how cool this place was.. As soon as the covid is finished I am taking my son there..

I grew up in this same neighborhood. I never felt like I had to visit the gardens. I just had too many other things to occupy my mind as a young man than looking at flowers. Then one day I accompanied other family members on a tour of the Gardens. I must say I was pretty impressed.
This had to be one of the Most satisfying, relaxing, soothing videos I've seen in quite a while. I love gardening and your tour was so satisfying and pleasant, it left me with such a desire to plant !!!
What a beautiful, colorful, and well-tended garden ! The world knows about this garden, it is famous. A piece of heaven on earth. Kudo's to the founder, creators, designers and hard working gardeners ! Well Done !

Beautifully flowered gardens with different colors and species of flowers that look like carpets. You can hear the sound of water among the flowers. Something wonderful for the eye and ear.
Like the other fellow said, Victoria, Vancouver Island, while Vancouver is on the mainland. The island is over 800kms long. Its a big little island, LOL.

I prayed that the Lord would show me my heavenly home and Wow! I was led to a beautiful bunch of flowers that were tiny white and pink. Usually here on earth when you have tiny flowers you have to dead head them so they will continue to grow but in heaven none were dead. All the flowers were beautiful and vibrant. It was very feminine for my feminine soul. I don't know if it was an angel or Jesus that showed me. But this being put out there hand as if to say, Here it is and I just gasped at the display of beauty. There was something pink off to the side and I couldn't make it out. Then the dream was over. Oh how I long for my heavenly home. You can't break anything or ruin anything in heaven and although these gardens are beautiful it ain't got nothin on heaven. G-d loves you. Peace be with you.
I really feel like crying.. I had a notebook that had the picture of the garden. Found it 6 years later and really visiting the garden in video. Must say it's a beautiful place. Whatever may be i can't visit the place in my life coz im from India and it's very expensive and i don't have a job also.. But i really enjoy the scenic beauty of other countries 🤗
i don't know if any one has mentioned this, but you say that this must be one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, but also in the Summer, July & August on Saturday nights, they have what I consider to be the World's best Fireworks show, and I've seen a few good ones. They also have really good musical concerts as well. It does get very crowded though! Good video Tom.
