After being limited to wall handstands for the last few months, I put together a workout based on your lessons. I successfully exhausted myself after a few sets of crow stand, kick ups, and pike push-ups. That bunny hop hasn't quite sunk in, but I will keep trying. With a couple sessions a week I hope to be ready for the handstand challenge. Thanks for the detailed tutorials. Now it's my turn.
Aamzing! Thanks again Greag, glad the videos have helped. I'm just working through the TH-cam comments and just replied to your other comment. Super excited you're onboard and looking forward to seeing you at the world record attempt. Thanks Tim
Thank you so much for these videos guys pt 1- 4, really REALLY appreciate it! Gonna track my progress and one day show you the final celebration video! :) thanks again
Hey guys, I want to be able to do the handstand by June but didn't start practicing yet, your series got me motivated, so is it fine to practice 2 days a week the crow and wall kick-ups? I already do weight and cardio training 5 days a week at the gym
Great stuff guys!! Your advice is really helping!! Do you think you could do a video on exercises building lower hip fexion strength in order to develop movement into press to handstand?
Thanks for your response guys!! Not at the sitting level yet..but working on press to hanstand from standing. I found your video on muscle up explosiveness really informative so I know you guys will have some good tips for developing that hip strength required. 😊
Hey guys, great video once again...you continue to raise the bar on quality content. My question is in regards to wall handstand push-ups. My current impossible box is a free standing handstand push up. I have a long way to go, and am currently working on the pike push-up progression with my hips stacked high over my shoulders. Which leads to my question. When I eventually progress to wall handstands, should they be performed with chest to wall, or chest away from wall? I saw Tim performing them with chest away from the wall, which to me seems to re-enforce poor form with a banana back. I assumed that chest to walk would require a better form that would lend itself eventually to the freestanding progresaion. Could you explain why one form would be better and why? Thanks again guys.
Joshua Hunstiger Great question! Can we answer it in our next Q+A as I think loads of people would benefit. There is a bit to talk about with this one! Thanks for the message and support. Tim
School of Calisthenics that would be great to see it in the Q&A. I agree that many could benefit from the answer. Looking forward to it. Keep crushing it.
