- Better than a new Jeep Gladiator in my opinion, this M715 Military jeep was built by Mike Newman of Southeast Jeeps in Florida. Let's take an in depth look in this walkaround! Would you prefer this M715 or a New 2020 Jeep Gladiator Truck? I'll let you decide. Also, interesting to note, Jeeps concept vehicle this year at Easter Jeep Safari looked exactly like this Jeep, yet this one was built a few years ago... coincidence??

Mike from SouthEast Jeeps is definitely the shop I would recommend for any Jeep work in South Florida or Stuart area .
He is very knowledgeable & super humble.
My Jeep has only been to 1 shop & it’s only been his hands and his guys to work on it.
I’ve seen this Jeep in person plenty of time. It’s a beast !

Stopped watching when they told me it's a Chevy with jeep body panels on it.
I would use:
AMC 401 727 and Dana 60 for old school
Engine & trans from JGC srt8 for something modern (2007 maybe)
The fact Kaiser and AMC both used many different parts from other manufacturers makes the Chevy drivetrain right in line with what Jeeps have always done. My 77 CJ-7 has GM steering, Ford electronics, AMC engine and Dana axles and transfer case, Dana was in bed with Chrysler at that time. Meaning my stock 77 was built from parts from the big 3 by number 4 AMC.
That neon color just doesn't look right on an older truck like this, even if it has been restored.
With that being said, yes, it is far better than a new gladiator. Do the winches run off of the power steering pump or what?

WoW! Awesome looking Jeep. And they bought 5 of em and managed to save 3. Brilliant. Respect for that. I think their they best looking 4 wheeler's around. The front grill/lights etc.......awesome. I like "Nates" jeep a lot. Super cool, specially the front bumper, winch mount and bar he made and installed.
Beautiful rig. Owner must be very happy with the outcome.

A dark olive drab thats almost as much black as OD used to subdue those highlights while the base color remained would have looked awesome and represented its military history while showcasing the restomod as well.
I used to drive one of those when I was in active duty in the early 80s. Underpowered rode like a tank unless you put about a thousand pounds in the back of it. I always like the looks of those I wouldn't mind having one but I would have airbag suspension on it
When I was in early teens, I had watch Tremors and I will never forget that bad ass looking truck, a jacked up 1963 Gladiator.

you completely lost me at chevy 383 stroker. ive got a 1977 j10 with the 6.6ltr, AMC 401 that been slightly built. only AMC engines will be in my AMC vehicle.

This is a Kaiser! But totally agree with you! I have two 401s in my CJs and a 360 waiting for the next project. My 401s are 73s, so Kaiser in an AMC CJ! Close enough!

Of course it's a better truck, it's a built truck. The Gladiator is a production vehicle built at a factory. What person builds a vehicle to the same specs as a factory production vehicle. That's the whole point of building it. Nice truck!

Green is my favorite color but not that lime green . The contrast between the body color and that green just doesnt look like something a pro shop would even consider. It doesnt compliment anything , it literally makes the truck just unimpressive. Those wheels dont work either. High School Kid Design Quality. Stock Windshield would have had a better fit as well. That one looks to be a afterthought. And a bad one. No offense it just doesnt work or impress me since im not a freshman in highschool. Amateu

No such thing as a jeep with matching numbers. Kaiser barely got vin numbers on their stuff especially the government orders.
Too much Chevy for my taste, but clearly a quality build. Will mostly see malls and mud puddles.
