I’m in Chattanooga and I have a 95 yj I’m about to build with one tons. I bought it when I got out of the army and it’s been sitting to long. I’m staying with leafs like yours, Ls, and 40s. Your rig has given me a lot of ideas thanks. Hope you don’t mind if I pick your brain from time to time. Lol

That Jeep inspired me to get started on building my CJ 7 and then I got a 5 .
Now I also have a MJ an XJ 🤷♂️Some hardcore or mild builds compared to yours and some daily drivers.

Super cool!!! If you want more out of the L59, look at heads/cam/tune. With the right combination, it shouldn't be too hard to get the torque numbers into the upper 400s without too much trouble. What's your trans? 4l60e? Overall... I LOVE this build. You should leave the driveshafts candycane.. they really stand out!

best winch you can get, glad to hear your going rope I would go with 11 mm thick its a pretty light vehicle. you should do a few more basic modifications to it that we do in Australia to race on them, ain one is to drill and tap the brake shaft and ditch the circlip. second one is to pin the free spool handle so drill a small hole through the manual free spool handle all the way though and but a corter pin through it something when they are under big loads the handle can pop out of place

Is that fiberglass lookin whip the only antenna you have? Seems like the cb, the marine radio and a vhf radio should at least need one more antenna for the vhf and marine radio to share?

Followed you on IG. Nice setup and the tires look badazz. Needing to do a LS conversion on my CJ7 which is currently down in the dirt.

@@jeremyrose7541 It had a diesel conversion when i bought it. A OM617 Mercedes Diesel. Guy tie wired the electric fan to the radiator. About 6 months after getting it, rubbed a hole in the radiator and ran out or water and burn up.

NORTHSTAR AGM BATTERY. Other than that... this is almost the exact setup i’m looking to do on my YJ. minus the sticky mickeys. Guna go with Interco LTB’s probably. Since I live close to the international headquarters.

I totally agree with you! But I have it filled with like rags and large plastic containers to try to take up room for bouncing! But I haven't figured out a better solution so it's staying for now

ok this was pretty sick. Mud is fun. Just not fun when ya get stuck in it. I don't think you would have any problems with this though. No covers for the what looks like an 8" speaker(rusty, been a while since I messed with them)? Nice Kudzu in the backdrop. Assume you are in the south U.S..

You have an rough estimate how much it was to swap in the Tahoe ls into your jeep? I'm working on a small block 350 carbureted engine into my 53 m38a1 but interested in doing an ls in the future or scraping the idea and going direct to the fuel injected ls.

Hey bud your jeep is amazing. I have a question about you master cylinder swap. What year dodge van did you source it from?
Nice Rig! Id like to know what brake booster are you running? and what year of dodge van for the master cylinder?
Brake booster is a 95 YJ I believe! It's just a double diaphragm from a Jeep. They put them on a couple different things. The brake master cylinder I believe is a 99 to 2002 Dodge Ram van 2500. When you Google it you'll see the difference in the master cylinder what I'm talking about. It'll look just like a master cylinder for the double diaphragm brake booster.

What kind of leaf springs are those? I have a 91 yj and was trying to learn how to make it have the stance of the chubby chaser. I plan on stretching the rear 15 inches to give me about a 109 wheelbase. So do you have any Recommendations on some good off-road flex springs will basically just like yours thanks in advance and great video love the chubby chaser

On my 8274 I run Master Pull 10,000 lb rope. It’s expensive but made in the USA. I got 125 ft on it with plenty of room left. It’s held up very well and is a lot easier to handle.
