- Afternoon folks, I've been playing the Cold War game mode in World of Tanks Console (WoT Console), and since the new Eastern Alliance light tanks have been released, I've noticed that many players are not using auto aim efficiently. In this video I go over exactly what you can do to take your auto aim game to the next level.

Good clarification between auto lock and auto aim. It’s a worthwhile distinction.

Not being spotted after literally standing in front of the enemy tank! That is such bullshit. I will never play cold war. Stupid unbalanced mode.
yes a tank can be unspotted right in front of a tank in cold war and also ww2 (more common in cold war) but the main difference is that cold war has true vision which means you dont have to be spotted to be seen. Basically if you sit infront of tank a in cold war unspotted they can still see you but you dont have any indicators above your tank

@@slapafishJr watch the video again and please explain to me how you can not spot with your eyes a tanks sitting 50 meters in front of you. This game mode is very unbalanced. A player concentrated on one target, and shooting at it, will never spot a light tank sitting 51 meters from him in a bush.
Best way to use auto aim is to turn it off.
Auto lock is very useful but auto aim is atrocious and just follows the other red tank that passes by the target you're aiming at, a very frustrating mechanic.
Auto lock good, auto aim bad.
Technically what you mean it is not called auto-aim, it is called Aim Assist, which is sometimes annoying. Autolock or Autoaim are the same thing.

Been playing this game almost 2 months and never knew this 😂. Now I need to figure out how to disable the weird trigger motor on ps5 controller when trying to scope in.
I played this game for 5 months before I accidently figured this out! I wish I had seen this vid sooner! lol
Post 6.0 WOT player here(Six years of experience) : On the T29 or any heavy tank you can basiclity keep you turret towards the enemy while checking you flank without the turret moving you don't even need to see the target just hold the button/trigger down the when you want to do it, this is helpful if you have to keep you have to backup or just want look behind you.
Thanks for all your videos over the years! I use aim assist (auto lock) sparingly since I am also not a big light tank player.

Is auto aim good for beginners using medium size tanks or for sniper shots
It’s typically used the most by light tanks. When playing heavies or mediums I use it to keep the gun on target when I want to avoid obstacles while circling the target.
But how to lock whitch buttons do that i don't understand 🤔
If you are looking at a enemy, press R1~ for playstation

People dont use auto aim? Or even dont know it exists?
I was playing for over 2 months before I figured out how to lock on. About 2 weeks later I figured out how to zoom in.
I do love the game, but it sucks regarding teaching new players. WG should put some tutorials and some of the War Stories to help new players.

I recently sprung for the big GI JOE bundle and need to learn this in order to make use of the Armadillo LOL
Enemy target needs to be spotted and you need line of sight to them. If you have both of those press right bump once and you’ll lock on.
Do not play WOT! No matter how good you are , how much you grind , the game will always make you play with more advanced players , so you will pay more and play more , it’s same old joke of a game
