We recently connected with Byron Messia for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about the success of his hit single “Talibans”, not expecting the the song to be a global hit, being born in Kingston, moving to Saint Kitts as a baby, jumping off the porch, going to college, reveals his musical influences which range from Jamaican artists to old school hip-hop artists, not having a favorite genre of music, getting the opportunity to work with Popcaan, collabing with Chris Brown & shooting the music video in Kingston, reveals that Chris Brown has a version of “Talibans”, the inspiration for his new song “Mad Dawgs”, upcoming album, remaining humble, not liking to be on social media, his music being therapeutic to him, music being the world’s language, wanting to work with Rod Wave, getting a lot of love from American artists, and much more!
